Afternoon all!
So despite having the headache from hell I didn't actually drop off until 5am!!  so then of course I slept in until 11:30 which has wasted my morning a bit. Ah well, early night tonight then, minus the headache I hope!
Day off today, just about to have a cuppa and finalise my M*rrisons list, have rearranged all the cupboards in the kitchen, later on I'm going to try and de clutter my bedroom a bit
Forgot all about eBay due to the headache but remembered at 11:45pm so got 4 or 5 things on before midnight!
Today I shall make tuna steaks, with leftover stir fried veg and pea velout!! Unt I might make eggs and bacon for brunchCredit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526

B17c - has your headache shifted yet?
Yesterday I attempted to make falafels and all went well until I needed to cook them. The broke up in the oil and OMG the amount of oil they soaked up!! Determined not to waste food I brought the 4 that didn't turn to oily mush in for lunch today but they were still really oily.. I'm sure slimming world have a falafel recipe so I might try to seek that out to see how they managed a non-oily version.
I had porridge for breakfast and brought some of the Christmas biscuits with me to much, which I think I will attack in a mo as the falafels din't realy touch the sidesApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Day 2 completed!
Haslet sandwich with onion relish and cucumber, some more leftover Pringles (memo to self, do NOT buy so many next Xmas!) a satsuma and an apple.
Yesterday I made some amazing home made soup, which I've frozen for future lunches. One batch was curried winter veg, and the other was sweet potato and mushroom - both made with home made chicken stock, which I froze after processing our humungous Christmas chicken. Loads more stock in the freezer, so shall continue experimenting with the soup.Unfortunately I've been diagnosed as having brain cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. More details as I get them...0 -
Hi everyone, happy new year to you all. I'm determined to save as much as I can this year, so lunch to work is a must for me.
Day 1 completed - and I actually enjoyed my lovely wee tuna salad, yoghurt and orange. Very refreshing after all that rich food (ok, ok copious amounts of chocolate!).0 -

Yes, thank all merciful holy things! It left me at about 3am.
I think it's due to caffeine withdrawal, I'm trying to stop drinking tea for a few weeks but its not going very well! I've got it down to one tea a day but if I don't have any at all I get the mother of all the headaches in the world
