All updates and adds done up to this point :)

No work for me today, i don't work weekends.

What are you all up to this evening? I am off out for dinner tonight with my friend and his fianc!e. He is one of my best friends and asked me to be Best (Wo)Man at his wedding in September :) But i have never met his fianc!e, so we are getting together for dinner tonight. It'll be lovely to see them both.

It's my 1st night out in 3 years!

I wonder why on Earth MSE has starred out an e with an accent on it? Strange!

I don't work weekends either but I must be getting in the swing of making packed lunches as I have made one for DH and my walk tomorrow and will make a flask of tea and pack some biccies to have when we get back to the car, saves us popping in to a cafe for a post walk coffee and cake;)

Tonight we are having a home made curry night and watching Taken 2. No vino though as we are doing dry January.

    WantToBeSE - enjoy the steak:)

Highland lady - ooh I do like a bit of Benedict Cumberbatch:kisses3: I might be the only one though:rotfl:

    Good morning LTW'ers!

All updated and adds done up to here :)

I had a lovely evening out yesterday. B17c, i didn't have steak as the only steak they had was a 27oz!! I knew i wouldn't be able to eat all of that, so i had the posh burger and chips instead.
I am going out for dinner next weekend too, as it's my sons 14th birthday, so i will definitely have steak then!

Both of the boys are at their Dads house, so i have a quiet relaxing Sunday today. What is everyone else up to?

im not crossing the threshold today. DD1 is home and i'm doing us a roast later - slipped up in Tesco y'day, large stuffed chicken breast/crown thingy had no price on it and I guessed about £4 WRONG - got the till and it was £6 which is a lot for a sunday joint when there's only 2 of us but I've decided once it's cooked to cut in half and freeze it so £3 per meal is ok. Found some fresh frozen veg i'd stashed in the freezer so that's a freebie. Apart from that i'm gonna be taking down decorations, sorting dd2s room out cos she's moved out and basically chilling. Nice bath later.

Still 2 looong weeks till payday - I daren't check my credit card balance - i'm sure i'm not too far off my limit YIKES

RE: Packed lunches, I've been doing this for a while not just to save money but just cos it's easier. Creature of habit and very happy with ham and dairylea on 2 slices of white bread, occasionally I get adventurous and have a cupasoup too !!
