2 rolls - one with some thin ham, with cucumber & spring onions. The other is some Tuna with some chilli & garlic through it, with cubumber & spring onion.

Day 1 of 21 (#66) done today with the above rolls. Also had a 500ml bottle of Lidl's Freeway Lemonade and a packet of cheese & onion crisps. Which I keep a stock of for taking in for lunches for work.

For me works out so much cheaper, that buying lunch that can cost a few quid a go. And that's at staff rates & not visitors rates (more expensive)

PB&J sarnie and a packet of Chipsticks... not the height of nutrition but hey, only 10 ProPoints - haha!

Well done to everyone else :-) Let's hope we can all manage a full week from Monday... eek!

Well looks like everyone is off to a good start.

Today was a success for me - Day 1/12 complete #52

Today is Day 1 of being back of Slimming World too, so all meals have been quite healthy :)

  • Well first day back to work and I survived! :j

Lunch today was tomato soup, 2 slices of bread and a bag of almonds all brought from home :) 1/16 days.

I'm only in 3 days next week so my target might be lower depending on how many days I'm given for the rest of the month.

2 out of 2 days complete.

Emergency lunch #1 on Thursday as ran out of time for proper one....can't say that crackers cheese n tomato was the most filling, but it did the trick.
And frozen leftovers today, huge portion of pasta.....& a light tea tonight.

That was the easy part of challenge.....it's a full week next week......

Blimey that it's expensive! We are saving so much money by doing things the old fashioned way :T

DAY 2\22 FOR ME TODAY . I took soup, bread roll, thin slice of stollen,a satsuma and bread sticks. Successfully avoided the lure of the buffet table which was laden with chocolate still.

Quite pleased with myself. No ideas for you w2bese although I am interested in trying the falafel. Need to think of another soup for next week.

Have a great weekend everyone xx
  • DC, I mean it's so much cheaper for me to take my own lunch to work, than to buy lunch at work.
Even if I buy a wrap/sandwich/baguette at work, they can still cost a couple of quid a go

Day 1 done! Mind you, I was too lazy to prepare something last night, so relied on the crackers in my desk drawer and a little tin of coronation tuna I put there for just such an emergency (must replace it). Oh, and I took in a small tupperware pot of leftover Pringles (portion control!). We get free tea/coffee/hot chocolate from the office so that was a nice cheap day.

I'm planning on batch cooking a curry at the weekend to freeze and take in to microwave. I spent most of December eating hummus and I want a change!
Unfortunately I've been diagnosed as having brain cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. More details as I get them...
