I'd like to try this month! I'm always reading threads and trying things and sometimes it even works!

But I'm going to try to be more accountable this year. (Well, I'll start with month!).

I work 4 days a week with Wednesdays off (due to RSI) and have been know to slip out for lunch occasionally with family.

Please put me down for 16 out of a possible 20 lunches this month - starting Monday, I had to buy lunch today as I've not got over Christmas yet :rotfl:

I dont think this counts as its not HM but last night when getting petrol the shop had sandwhihces reduced to 39p whihc is cheaper than I could make my own with the fillings etc., so I bought one and its lunch today, together with a HM blueberry & apricot muffin made by DD and the ration of two christmas chocolates.
To those who are given much, much is expected

This way I have treats in the cupboard for work or for taking to the cinema that don't break the bank or my diet!

You just reminded me that I've got a bag of sweet microwave popcorn (unpopped) lurking in my drawer at work from ages ago. Actually, I'd better check it hasn't been munched by mice already, whoops. I'll need to find a tuppawear box for it though as, as much as I would eat a whole bag of popcorn - I'd look like a total pig in work so I'll split it in half when I do pop it.

and that's reminded me while we're at the big shopping town tomorrow for the f&v market, I'll see if their Home Bargains have the microwave popcorn in again - 4 packs for £1 :D

Just about to munch my lunch. I'm not yet hungry but I am bored and need a reason to be browsing the net really (ie "it's my lunch break!")

            Phew, the popcorn is unscathed...

And I also found my microwave omlet and poached egg maker that I bought last year when my chooks were laying eggs like there was no tomorrow... where it promptly sat, unused in my drawer still in it's original plastic wrap :o:o

Oh no, Id deffo say that counted. I sometimes bring in ready meals from the supermarkets - I tend to go for reduced bits as I don't buy ready meals for dinners, so I buy them when they're cheap to 'stock up' for lunches when i can't be naffed to make something

So I'd definately say that counted :D

Well that's 2/17 for me. Good start to the year so far.

Home made soup again with a hummus and grated cheese wrap. There are plenty of biscuits left in our office (pre xmas treats) if I get hungry later.

(two cans chopped toms, 1 can chickpeas, added to fried onion, veg stock, curry powder and some finely chopped carrot. Bought to the boil, simmered for 15-20mins then blitzed) and has made enough soup for 5 lunches. Unfortunately not all for me as had to share with hubby lol.

More soup making this weekend, think I need to expand my portfolio :rotfl:

It was really yummy and no effort at all, just left it on overnight! I love my slowcooker. Also there was a meat offer on, so I got twice the beef and will make more for next week!

I picked up a tone of root veg in Aldi before Christmas for really cheap which is mostly what went into it, but threw in a pepper and some onion and courgette too!
