  • Hello back to work, zero time to read very sorry, don't want to be rude just showing up randomly.

Promise I will catch up at some point.

    Lunches

Mon - currant bun not great.
Tuesday - instant rice and left over Korma - again fairly gross.

    Wednesday
Thursday Friday = Quiche (supermarket bought), mini scotch egg x2, salad (stolen shamelessly from the guinea pigs)

so as this is my first time in the Challenge - do these all count? - I didn't make the Quiche etc?

    thanks XX
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Another 2 days done for me, had HM pasta with mushrooms yesterday and mushrooms on toast.
I'm quite fortunate in that I can go home for lunch everyday but have to walk past lots of tempting shops. The ups and downs of living in a flat above a high street shops.
    Make £5 a day: Jan £6.20/ £155
    £2 Club = £8.00;50p Club = £10.00;20p Club = £9.80
Take Lunch To Work: Jan 6/20 GSC = £51.16/£240; VSP=£1.78
THE ONLY THING WORSE THAN GETTING UP FOR WORK IS NOT HAVING ANY WORK TO GET UP FOR.

I tell myself I can have it later. Then later I've generally forgotten about it!

B17C, if the headache didn't go after caffeine did it maybe trigger a migraine?

No I don't think so, I very rarely get migraines and I drink tea regularly... I think it's caffeine, sugar and carb withdrawal!! Xx

B&M is a discount store.. Not sure about Scotland though but they are increasing and seem to be springing up everywhere.

So sorry that you are still suffering though... That must be utterly miserable. Could it be eye strain or something like that?

Thank you :) I swear I just didn't know what to do with myself, and I couldn't sleep!

I have regular eye tests coz I wear lenses... wondering if it could be due to coming in and out of a very bright kitchen to a dimly lit restaurant 500 times a night but I'm sure it's just my body having a hissy fit coz I'm not giving it so much crap!!! Xx

Today was the first day I forgot my lunch :( spent £4 at work, including a choccy muffin ( I know, naughty!) but I forgot to pick it up! I'll pop down and get one tomorrow.
Got an Avon lady coming at lunchtime to talk to be about becoming a rep :)

done. Early lunch today yummy tomato pesto and cheese sandwich. An apple - boring.

Don't have much time for lunch today which is good as I would be tempted to buy a nice snack.

Going to buy some biscuits or cake or something from the shops tonight so I can have something else as a little treat for lunch.

This is me, I come home for lunch too and go past shops :) It can be a test of will when your hungry and going past.

I always feel so much better though when I don't give in.

I have 9p porridge again this morning (geting bored of it again but it's soooo cheap) and lunch is lo hm oven chips and buttered bread. I'll microwave the chips before I assemble the sarni :).
I also have a few chrimbo chocs stashed in my drawer in case I get the munchies later
