Good afternoon, my lovely LTW'ers! I am feeling happy happy happy today! Dont ask me why, but i have a great feeling about 2014
Updated to here
Buffy- Yes that countsYout LTW's dont have to be home made (mine rarely are), just as long as you dont pop into a supermarket/shop/buy from a canteen etc on that day, it's counted as a LTW. So i have put you down as having done 4, is that correct?
I failed at the breakfast part of this challenge though- i forgot to buy cereal bars to put in my glove box (thats what i munch on if i forget/dont have time for breakfast). So had to buy them this morning. I got a more expensive brand this time and they tasted lovely! Only 3 bars for £2.20 as opposed to 5 bars for £1.99. But i now have enough for the rest of the week, and WILL remember to buy a packet of 5 with this weeks shopping.
Was going to dp the weekly shop after work, but i wanted to come home and have my tomato soup as i was cold and hungry. So will have to do it this evening...or i could do it online and have it delivered tomorrow
B17c- How is the headache? When i stopped drinking caffiine i had very bad headaches for a few months.
Lilian- can i have the recipe for Quinoa bake please, it sounds lovely.0 -
Ok LTWers I need some guidance! I brought my lunch into work yesterday but my brother surprised me at work (he's just back after working in Russia for four months) and took me out for lunch
Does this count? I kept my lunch in the fridge and had it today so if yesterday is ok I'm 3/20 days if not it's 2/20!!
Second month on this challenge and loving it!0 -
Jelly- as long as YOU didnt pay for lunch, i would say that's perfectly fine
Although there are no rules in this challenge, the emphasis is on not parting with ANY extra cash at all.
So, if you paid for your lunch, i'd say it doesnt count as a LTW day, but if your brother treated you and paid, it does count as a LTW day. I hope that makes sense?0 -
Am home ill today with stomach bug
so haven't taken lunch to work today obviously. I guess that reduces the number of days I work in January to 19. I did take it the previous two days though so I am now up to 3 out of 19.
