Well.. bit of a lazy NSK day BUT I got to the gym! 25 minutes HIIT, 30 minutes of weights AND I managed to run home ( sort of ) and was so full of beans when I got home I ran around the block to see if I could actually run with my dodgy knee so I ran-walked ... mainly because I am SO unfit. But I think that's the lazy-ness broken and I am ready to get back on this...
SO I am off to dry hair and go to bed early for once!

Clippy_girl - thanks! we will try saving the bills up, I might try phoning the insurance too and asking what to do for the best. I would feel too bad asking the charity as I know they really struggle as they are a small local organisation. And try the trainers thing, the savings will outweigh the guilt I promise. Also, once you find some trainers you like you can get them online even cheaper after 6 months or so as the makers are always upgrading the shoes to the next level and you can get 'last year's' model at around 50% of the price! I run in a level 10 of a running shoe they are now selling the level 13 in the shops, but I can get the level 10 on line for about £30 rather than the new style in the shops at £100.
Obviously we didn't make it to the gym for a swim but I have just done 30 mins yoga at home instead, Ow. But at least it was something!LBM Aug 2013 - DEBTS AS OF THEN £25,150  now: £0 :j

Hi All,
Today was meant to be a SFD but after a visit to my GP I had to pay £15.70 for 2 prescription items  One of them I could have left until my next planned spend day on the weekend but the other item I needed now as it was for the issue that I went to see her for.
So to make me feel a little better I checked what I would need on my next top up shop and got it today. I will still need a spend day on the weekend for food for the animals (unfortunately not anywhere near where I went tonight and they are closed by the time I finish work)
Totals so far
4/20 - SFD
£42.66/£150 - Groceries
5/22 - LTW
£20/£100 - Fuel
Not too bad. Will need to really keep a check on the SFD's to make target although I only need another 16 out of the next 23 days so that allows me 7 more spend days which is roughly 2 a week. Put like that it should be doable (is that a word?) I always try to look at the positives and am often told I'm too positive but I really don't think anyone can be too positive
NSK love the picture of the cat. She looks like a real sweetie. I bet she's totally spoilt.
Hope everyone is having a good month.

Evening all.
As predicted a spendy day - £31 at the dentist for a filling. Well worth the money to get my tooth fixed.
I nearly spent money today - just for the sake of it being a spend day - but resisted.
I went out for a run before work this morning so pleased with that.
Nearly had a glass of wine tonight but resisted that too.
Planning on a SFD tomorrow - I do need to pick up a few bits in Wilko but still have Love2Shop vouchers to spend so will use those.
Hope everyone is ok, and hope you all have a good day tomorrow.
Night all!0 -
Quick update.
NSD for me and DH, so really pleased with that. I've got to pop to Ald1 tomorrow, but planning on keeping spend to that and then having another NSD Friday. Fingers crossed!"Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." William Morris0 -
I am an AVON rep and this is my take on it. If you have lots of friends, relatives and colleagues buying from you it may pay quite well, I have to rely on territory for most of my orders and it is hard work sometimes, pounding the streets in all weathers, then people are out or haven't any money and think you have nothing else to do but keep coming back.
AVON themselves are regularly out of stock so you don't get the money you expected, the orders are badly packed so all the little things get squished under the giant bubble baths, the brochures are expensive and quite often they do fixed discounts on branded items which means you may trail to someone's house with an order and end up with £1 for your trouble.
Other than that it is OK:rotfl:.
Ooh ok!I'm actually new to the area so I only really know my mum, grandparents and the people I work with!!
I've been given a territory including the road my mum works on (handy!) the road the convent is on (do nuns use Avon?!) and the flats on my road (I'll meet the neighbours!)
I have slight concerns about getting into a routine because I work in a restaurant and my shifts, days etc change every week but the Avon guy said I can just fit it around my shifts.
I'd like to hold parties too, if I can get people to turn up! I might invite people from my mums work coz they used to order quite a bit of Avon but the lady that did it has left now.
Fingers crossed it works out!! XCredit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526

Hi all:) Well yesterday was my first day back at work and with my new manager. He seems ok. Well some good news. My manager and HR, have approved me working full time so that's more money :T I do worry about the emotional cost. My little one will have to go back to leaving the house early with me like he did when he was at nusery, but he is really excited to go to breakfast club as all his friends go. It's a move I have to make really in order to keep us going-regardless of the debt. Once I clear the debt though, we will really reap the benefits :T
Feeling slightly off though, finding it hard to get to concentration mode at work. How the hell I will be able to work 9-5 I don't knowI'm hoping once the days brighten a bit i'll be good!
NSK-Very cute cat
Well done all that have resisted temptation :T
The things I'm thankful for is that
I have a fantastic 5 year old that from day one has adapted to everything - my little angel :A
I have 3 other children that are doing so well for themselves
I can go fulltime
I am starting to feel better about myself
I am part of this challenge.
2 NSD's to report and 2 days of excercise
Good luck everyone and keep going. Mrs GSR's signature should be a mantra for us to remember when we are tempted to give up :T:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0
