stewby well done on the will power. Everybody else seems to be doing well too.
Will need to do a grocery shop later on but had an uneventfull day otherwise. My blood sugar levels were up last week at my 28 week check up so had to get a glucose tolerance test today (gosh, 3 hrs in a waiting room are mind numbing). Luckily all normal, but i maybe will cut down on sugar, simple carbohydrates and sweets anywayDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
I have a guilty confession from my shopping spree- in addition to the bunny food and a spare tarpaulin (which I went out for), I ended up with six metal heart-shaped ornaments from W1lko... But they were only £1 each and will be perfect for decorating the pillars in the barn where my wedding is in the summer! Also reduced from £5. So a bit MSE...Debt: [STRIKE]£8652[/STRIKE]£8550:eek:

Hello all!
Here I am at my daughter's acting lesson's place till 9 pm.. Going back home only to return as soon as I got there is just waste of time! Instead, here I am catching up with this threat and feeling very tired! I had a very busy and fruitful day!
Reporting FSD 7/20
Have a lovely evening all!

Belated hugs to Splodge! Glad you are feeling a bit better. Aw, NSK- cute pic! Well done Mrs Toast. Clippy re shin splints and getting your trainers, I go to the running shop and have the gait analysis done, try on all the trainers they recommend, chose the ones I like, then say that I will have a think about it and go home and order them online for much cheaper! Bit naughty I know, but you can get a massive discount, and the analysis is free and no obligation so not doing anything wrong technically… I used to get all kinds of probs including shin splints but once I got the right trainers it’s been fine. Missyv30 – keep your chin up, it’s tough but you are paying off big chunks and doing great!
Bex296 – thanks, but she is already insured, as is the other cat, but because the virus has no cure and all the treatments for the symptoms are separate and bit by bit they all come under the excess on the insurance because its £20 here, and £40 there… but every other week! Not sure what to do really..
SFD here, still feeling rough, but hoping to head out for a swim in an hour or so, we have decided to go the gym later this evening as it’s still really busy with January Joiners, which makes it quite annoying trying to swim in a packed pool! But, let’s see how strong my willpower is at 8.30pm heading out in the rain!

calling- i :heart2: leek and potato soup but i dont like it pureed. i dice the l&p very small and eat it like that. did it as i was lazy but now prefer it like that!
stewby- well done on resisting! keep your vouchers as a reward for when you loose a few lbs so can be an incentive to go on a spree and get some fab clothes
thrifty lass- good news that nothing is wrong
tiptoes- could you ask the charity you got puss from for some help? maybe they could help for reduced cost? i would imagine they get a few animals back due to things like this so would like to think they could help. are you able to save up some bills together to claim on insurance?:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Hi all,
Bit of a spendy day today. Had a mystery shop at a certain supermarket and had to spend, will get some back but did go over my spending 'allowance', nothing frivolous mind, bought bread, milk and coal! A bit random I know;)
Walked crazy dog, so exercise done. Also collected Avon books, 40 minutes walking round my patch- a bit more exercise? Does that count?
Dolly84 - I hear you, yes! Not something to do for fun but I can do it when I please (within reason) and the pay is not too bad, it all helps get those debts down...And I'm now on much friendlier terms with my neighbours so that's nice too...
I'm still on eating whatever is in the freezer/cupboards until I get paid my tax-credits next week. Went to lovely friend's house for tea yesterday and they also gave me a bag of potatoes to take home, which is fab as I had run out:D
All going reasonably according to plan, just need some of my ebay stuff to sell...Official DFW nerd - 282 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'

Midgie (#104) reporting for duty!!!
Starting to get the hang of this challenge! Slowly but surely! I've managed 4 SFD so far and 3 take my lunch to work days!:)
I had done a big shop before the challenge started so I'm trying to live off what I have in and not spend anymore!
I've started walking more but haven't made it to the gym yet! I'm building up to it!:o

Evening all,
NSK - Dorothy looks adorable
splodge - glad you eventually got some help
stewby - congratulations on avoiding the temptation of shopping in your favourite clothes shop :T :A
Today I resisted the temptation of getting a lovely cooked dinner at work, even though it was going to be a spend day! I have dis.covered willpower!
In challenge news, I spent £7.21 in Asd4 on top up milk, bread, tea etc. Unfortunately, I got to the till, handed over my coupons, then realised I had took all the money and cards out of my purse and left them at home! So I drove home and back againSlight fail on petrol consumption.
I also walked the dogs and got my exerciseTook my lunch to work and ate it, and drank no alcohol, but no surprise there :rotfl: I also did a tutoring session and earned some extra money
Finding this week quite interesting. I have half the amount of lessons that I usually teach (due to older pupils having exams) and I actually have a decent work/life balance. Unfortunately, I couldn't cope on half the money, so no way I can cut my hours.
