    Hi all

been reading but not commenting as still just using tablet which is difficult to type on. Back to work Monday though so will comment more then.

SFDs all month so far so that's 3/20 under my belt already. Curry made foe tea tonight. Went to Carluccios fir breakfast but that was OHs treat. Went to the (free) museum today using paid for train pass and took a picnic, used to buy lunch there but took advantage of the picnic space there instead, then went to Virgin Lounge for free coffee afterwards.

Probably a spend day tomorrow as might go swimming with DS.

    Early check in from me.
SFD no 3, putting off putting diesel into the car until Sun/Mon so I can rack up a couple more.
Veggie curry for tea. I made five portions of mince yesterday afternoon, had one portion for tea as cannelloni, today is curry tomorrow is chilli, Sunday is with mash and Monday is with roasted veggies. I try to ring the changes so I don't get fed up with it.
I will be needing milk before too long, but when I was looking in the pantry earlier I found my emergency UHT so I may use that.
The sky here looks really dark and horrible, so going to close curtains and hunker down
Hope everyone is keeping well and positive

    Evening all,

Today should have been a SFD but OHs best friend has invited us round for a takeaway and we said yes. Feel very guilty but I'm still going! Also put £10 petrol in the car I borrowed yesterday and in return they drive me home once I'd returned the car :)

I may have also had another miniature hero :(

On a positive, I walked the dogs in the blustery but thankfully not very wet weather for 40 minutes :)

Tomorrow, will be a SFD as need to do the food shopping, top up my car with petrol and get the hair cut that was cancelled by the hair dresser last Saturday.

Hope you've all managed to stay dry in this weather!

  • Well reporting SFD no. 2:T;):T:T

Collected DS2 prescription then went to visit parents where we were fed and Ds was given sweets for later which pleased him.

Quiet night in tonight, DD is at her boyfriends DS1 is at work DS2 will be going to bed soonish (I have a bit of an age gap with children) DH is sleeping on sofa after being up most of the night with a tickly cough so allows me time to read through threads.

Hope everyone has survived the weather and has a good weekend.

  • So today I have spent but I did actually budget!! But then realised I haven't put the kids budget on my signature so will add that on later. So gonna declare a sfd. Took a dress that I was unsure about back to the shop. I didn't love it so bye bye dress. That actually felt good.
Sending hugs out to those with depression, I think its the dark nights but my OH suffers terribly with it and this winter has been bad!!
Hope all the pets are on the mend very soon too, we lost our old dog recently and its left a huge hole in our lives.
Good luck with your budgets guys. L2B.x

  • Hi everyone

Strange day today - spent £30 on physio treatment as my back has been really bad, plus another £24.56 on a pair of waterproof trousers to teach in (definitely needed at the moment with all of this crazy weather!). I paid cash for both out of my teaching money, so I haven't touched my bank accounts

On the upside, I've earned £25 from teaching another lesson & a re-book made for a week on Sunday.

No exercise today due to physio, but will do tomorrow

A quiet night in for me, marking... ready to back to work on Monday :( determined to have my huge pile of marking done & ready to hand back to students by Monday!!

    Evening,
This thread doesn't half go quick trying to catch up though, not such a good day today. Had to put petrol in car and ended up buying juice so have spent £2 out of shopping budget and £30 from petrol but atleast its been budgeted for.

Haven't done excercise today bec back is playing up :( so didn't want to risk doing more damaged, doing anything like excercise dvds, and couldn't go for a walk bec it was blowing a gale and pouring down.

Anyway away to make the tea and cosy up and watch a film have a good evening everyone :)
