Mats bought and are in (will need a couple of bits adjusted but much better than the others :T)
Few bits bought at Lidl - incl a fire extinguisher as realised I've not had one for agesand it was on of their special offers this week (£7.99) and now have peace of mind again
£15 spent on top of that but incl 2 bottles of washing stuff for the dog' stuff and coleslaw etc for 2 weeks :T
£33 spent at Mr T - incl 8 bottles of value water (neither the dog nor either of the cats will drink the tap water)
Now, I've not been able to get these locally for ages & asked why (my naughty side did suggest to the CS rep that they magically disappeared when the warmer weather came .... and they've got loads of the more expensive bottles) and was told they were out of stock .... obviously not if the big store has them (which makes my theory all the more valid!)
Will be mentioning it if there's still none when I go back!
So total down to £29 with the till spitAND £10 of that was 3 boxes of pouches for Archie (on offer) so a good saving there
Unfortunately another thing the local small stores near me don't stock
I did get a new flavour for him to try which fingers crossed he'll like (as there's only 2 boxes he'll eat)
Also got another £4 of £30 spend for next week so if he likes the new one, I may well go back & stock up as that's a big saving when a box only lasts 6 days
I really must make more of an effort to go to the big store & do a big shop (or get it delivered if I don't need to go anywhere else as that would be cheaper than fuel to get there!), then just get fresh stuff locally
Must start separating out my stuff from pets stuff on sm spends as been really bad for this latelyTBH I get most of their stuff online but the cats pouches are usually bought at the sm
£19 on 'stuff for me' at Mr T which wasn't too bad I guess - and incl stuff for lunches next week (should just need another bag of salad at some point) :money:
BUT just realised I totally forgot to get a loaf of bread*sigh*
Final pit stop was Farm*foods as I was down to my last 6 loo rolls  - those that know me well will know that would be giving me nightmares :rotfl: as I usually have a 'loo roll mountain' in stocks!:o
Got 2 packs of 18 so feeling much happier now :rotfl: and a couple of packs of kitchen rolls which are also much cheaper there
£10.40 spent thereGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Can't believe I need to do them all againBUT have found Martin's templates :money: so sure that will cut down on the time spent AND make them better than the original ones I sent off
Done! :T
Will post off tomorrow - there's a prepaid envelope but think I may also send recorded delivery so I've proof they get it (having one set already go astray AND because the deadline for claiming is looming)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

He will eat the odd pouch of the Lick n Chew or Really Meaty ones
BUT have yet to find a box where he'll eat all the varieties in it:(
Shame as its generally quite a lot cheaper BUT I do tend to only buy his when they're £3 for £10
Don't know why cat food has to be so expensive compared to dog food:undecidedGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Sky update
Phoned Sky earlier (took 4 attempts to get to speak to the right person and 50 mins of my much loved evening ) as I was having difficulty working out how my payment related to the packages
Last July, I got a new box (old one was bust & old!) and it was going to be an extra £3 / month for 12 months with free HD - and I was told I could cancel at the end and go back to my original package (entertainment plus at that point) - which was £21.50 (and incl Documentaries)
I'm not fussy about HD (I can't tell the difference that often TBH) and certainly wouldn't pay more for it
So ... past month I was billed £28 (which I thought incl the £5 for HD) but wanted to put it down to what it was before
Imagine my horror when I was told it would be £33 from Sept  - this is when it took 4 attempts to get someone who could explain why!
Anyway, turns out Entertainment Plus has gone - and it's now 'original', 'variety' or 'family' .... somehow I'd ended up on Family when the 12 month contract ran out in July!
Certainly not paying £33 / month .... and discovered that the channels you had to pay extra for (eg Living, Fox, Universal etc) are now incl as standard in 'original'BUT you can't add extra channels eg docs for £1 anymore .... you have to get 'variety' - which is £6.50 / month more
So - downgraded back to Original @ £21.50 / month :T
Like my docs ..... but £6.50 / month for themcan't justify that (esp when most end up on other channels at some point or another)
Now ..... need to get watching all the stuff I've got sitting in planner that's been recorded in HD before it cuts off! (have reset programmes to now record non-HD;))
Also lose box sets which is a bit sad (have watched the entire of seasons 1-3 of Falling Skies in the past month!) but have lived without that until very recently so can do so again!!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Quiet couple of days ..... plodding along
M&D move 2 weeks tomorrow  (panic, panic!) - will be great to have them a bit closer & it's a lovely house BUT a humongous wrench to leave their current one (been there nearly 20 years ) so not looking forward to the last drive away from it ........Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I think it's going OK thanks Moo
Mum's doing a couple of boxes a day ....... thankfully they did a LOT of clearing out (loft etc) when they 1st put the house on the market
Still a load of stuff though
Dreading the final 'drive away' IYKWIM - it's the closest to a family home I ever had (I only lived there 6 weeks while I was waiting for entry to my 1st flat) - we moved around a lot when I was younger so never really had a base growing up
