  • Lordy where has the past month gone!

Quick update on whats been happening / about to happen:

    - hugely overspent in May & June :o (no excuses - some pet issues and just loads of things happened / needed bought and couldnt be put off)

    - car tax due :( £130 - i do have a car pot but its not recovered from buying the extra wheels / tyres (approx £550) yet! Will scrape it together from various bits & pieces (coin pots etc)

    - car servide due - thankfully free :) (3 services incl when i bought the car) :money: cant believe ive had it a year - where did that go!

    - job due to end mid-Aug so really need to try tô stick a bit aside the next couple of months

    - applied for new c/card earlier this week - still hate doing stuff like that :o

Hoping it will help with budgeting (pet stuff has been getting mixed up with mine & as i have separate accounts for them its silly to not be able to split the costs properly). Intending to keep current one and use 1 for me stuff & 1 for pets.

Aside from that - really just trying to fine new job for Aug but not having much luck (they're either less money, part time or temporary)

Plodding ......... what are you all up to?

  • Good news ......

Popped into Mr A to return something and realised it was just before the Lotto closed - so bought a lucky dip (not had one for at least a couple of years .... gave up as never won even £10 :o)

Anyway ... got 3 numbers :T so that's £25 thank you very much

That can go towards my bike being fixed :T

It's looking like this will be around £60ish - a service is £25, it needs new tyres which will be around £35. I'm going to ask them to have a good look over it before they do anything and if it looks like anything major needs fixed that'll push it much over that then not to bother ..... it's a good bike so worth spending a bit on to get it going again - but at the same time I can buy a (not so good) new / 2nd hand one for not much more than that so ......

It's got a few specks of rust on which I'm not worried about but one of the wheel spokes is quite rusty that I am worried about .... fingers crossed it's OK - it's entirely my fault as it's been outside (didn't have anywhere secure to keep it indoors when the car went in the garage)

    It goes in on Friday
