  • Morning all, 108 here.

Another payment today - now at £2369.78/£10,000 so far.
  • I assumed that they would charge me as a cash withdrawl if I did this? I've given them more than enough money in the form of interest - I don't want to give them any more;)

Does anyone know if this would be seen as a cash payment?
I'm almost sure in the dim and distant past I've had to do this because I paid off the wrong card - the money isn't theirs if the balance was clear so they can't charge you for having it back! Definitely ring them and get them to sort it rather than trying to withdraw it from a cash machine though as no doubt that would incur a fee

Thank you, thank you - I'm here all week :D
  • Can't you just phone the CC company and ask them to send the money to your bank account and close the CC account rather than having to spend on it to get it back?

:rotfl: She can try! It's taken me three weeks to get my Cap1 account closed and a credit balance refunded. I had to resort to emailing them calling them blithering incompetents to get them to action the request! ;)
