Finally can report that today, the 27th January 2014 I am officially CC and Loans Debt Free! Settlement figure paid on car today just need to make a dent in the mortgage now!
Its been a long haul, April 07 on CC's and loans alone owed £54,489!! Wasn't in the position then to do much about it except try to make minimum payments but kept a record of everything in my finances folder and sitting back looking at it today can't believe how far we've come. Jan 09 - 46,405, May 09 - £42,864, Feb 11 - £31,660, Mar 12 - 23,753, Oct 12 - £18,000, Feb 13 £15,572 and today £0!
This site has been amazing and the help and advice on the forums is superb. It feels great now to think my hard earned cash will be spent on me and my family and not paying massive interest payments to CC and loan companies. Intend to keep MS it's a way of life now and next hurdle is to clear the mortgage.

Very jealous of all these pay day people - I can't wait for Jan to end. It has been such a long month, and I can't help but feel like it should have been over days ago!
