It's payday! So finally off the mark, woohoo!

I'm really happy because I've managed to clear my overdraft once and for all, I've lived in it for a few years now.
If I could offer a little tip to people with multiple debts it would be to clear your overdraft as a priority. The interest charged on it is generally quite high but the main reason is psychological. It's such a boost to see your full wage in your bank account on payday and I'm positive it will be easier to budget for the month.
When you have -£2500 in your account (like I did) it can be difficult to know how to budget for the essentials!
Thanks everyone!
I've decided to take ItsOver's advice and concentrate on the overdraft this month. I can finally report that when I get paid tomorrow it will be the first time for ages that the full amount get credited.
It's a good feeling:rotfl:

Welcome katie26 hope you enjoyed the travelling - go anywhere nice? You're number 146!
It's pay day tomorrow, so I've transferred around all the money left in my account. It's split between 3 little pots, one of which is for treats (I'm thinking for a holiday).
Anyway I'm now at #004 £304/3500=8.69%
Will have another update over the weekend as well.

Another £450 paid today, meaning I've paid £1030 this month. I have another £90 I can pay but all my DDs have to come out for the month so I like to leave a little more than I'll need in case of any nasty surprises!
Thanks to everyone running and posting in this group. It genuinely helps to know I'm not the only one in 10k+ debt and its really spurring me on.Happy!0
