Hello suzitiger! Nice to "see" you again!
And what a great introduction. I feel i ought to do something now...
Hi, I'm Jonesy and i'm the 3rd helper on this thread (only minicooper can update the front page but we can update the master spreadsheet/give numbers etc etc). I joined this site last year with £10000 to clear and achieved 65% of this in 2013, leaving £3500 to clear this year before i move on to building my savings for a family and family house.
Little Vics :T - Welcome to the thread, you're #112 with a £10500 target
Some great early payments rolling in everyone, i'm jealous!
Spreadsheet updated to here.
Thanks Jonsey, just thought I should say I haven't done the spreadsheet update at all to where I said updated to here, so anyone that I've missed please pop them on. I only have dropbox on my phone at the moment so still need to complete setting that up to be able to help mini and you with that. But I am happy to assign numbers still and chat away

Thanks jonesy and suzitiger - you've been a real help today - it's been a long day of packing, tidying, 6 hours of travelling and then unpacking again...
Back to work tomorrow. Less than excited about that; the last day before Christmas, they had a bad announcement that could lead to redundancies, and I'm not sure what sort of atmosphere to expect.
Suzitiger my sister and mum both entered into debt management plans, and if you feel a little bit like you're drowning in it, it's a good thing to do. If you want someone else to help with it, look around - I think my sister used a council service before (I don't know if it was stepchange or the local authority), but later found a group through her local church which worked a lot better for her (she's not religious btw, they were happy to help non-congregation)0 -
hi guys i was wondering if its too late for an extra little one?
I found a group thread really helpful last year and managed to clear £2998 of debt woo hoo!
I still however have £1600 left on a cc about £500 on a catalogue and about £200 on another catalogue aswell as some nasty o/d's totalling.....£1500
So all in all my target for xmas 2014 is- £3800
Going to try my best to get as close as i can but totalling it up sounds dire!!!Looking for a fresh start0 -
Can I please join this challenge? I am determined to make a big dent in my debts this year. I don't think I will be able to clear them all but clearing some would be great! So my debt amout is
£5800
Wish me luck!
Many thanks.

Hi all!
Please can I be another latecomer? I'm aiming to clear off a very expensive NatWest overdraft of £2000 (charges costing me £34 a month!!) and a credit card balance of £1881.00 (charges of £26) by December 2014.
So my total debt to clear is £3881.00
I live on my own so the support will be very much needed! I have no-one to ask me about my spending or keep an eye on me!
Plan is to take in a lodger for my spare room - had one for 3 months last Summer and got a lovely £240.00 a month which I stupidly spent rather than saved. Learned my lesson now though! Good Luck to all - we can do this!0 -
Hi another update today after selling on facebook so:
