  • Hi,

I'd like to join in this thread. I want to pay off £10,000 this year. Working out what I owe is a bit complicated because I live abroad and am dealing with 2 currencies, plus I know I'll have to incur some debt (planned for) later in the year, but 10k seems like a good place to start!
  • Please add me for £5500 :) thanks

  • I would like to join this thread .... I want to get out of the payday loop and pay off at least half of my debt of 10,000 by the end of 2014. :)
  • Thank you for my number, will try work out tomoz when I get on the laptop how to do the bold numbers and how to edit as iv decided to try pay between £10 and £15 every day to the debt if I can rather than try pay one lump sum on paydays as I like to still have some money in the bank just in case I need it, might have to rethink this as now I'm typing it I'm bit sure it makes sense. Anyway as I wanted to start from the beginning of the year today I paid in £60.

Morning to all the early(ish) risers!!

Jan 5th payment of £50 to Capital One made.

Going over my spreadsheet, because of some one-off payments I've made this month it looks like to keep up with £50 a day I'll need to find an extra £450 or so this month. I'm not sure I'll be able to get much overtime (if any) so will probably have to rely on ebay to make up the shortfall. My plan is to get 10 auctions listed today if possible. I think I've got a few hundred pounds worth of stuff, so fingers crossed!!

    #65 £650 / £17935

    346 payments left!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend - and my sympathies to those starting back at work tomorrow :( At least going back last Thursday gave me a gentle 2-day "warm-up" to being back at work!

I'm so impatient to get off the starting line! I wish I had seen this before I made my usual January payments earlier in the month, as I now can't post any updates until later in the month!

To cheer myself up though I'm planning on listing some bits on ebay this evening, any profits from that will be going towards the debts!

Everyone is doing fantastically well, so inspirational to me :j

  • pennies from Heaven welcome, you're number 102. Good luck with the year - be your first payment will be £**.48?

Lol minicooper! I suppose the first payment should have the 48p, but sadly not - the dd for one of the cc's has come out of the bank so I'm off the starting block, but not with the 48p involved!

    so here goes........

    # 102 - £56.41/£8696.48

I get the feeling I'll be dealing with odd pence right until the end, but I suppose they all add up!
    LBM 1.1.16 = £27096.59 - now £17,020.38

    Paydbx 2016 - £6487.31/£7000 = 92.67% - number 74
