It's payday tomorrow :j Although any money I have coming in is going straight out again on paying who I owe. Plus I've spent too much money this week from DD or on my Credit card but I'll have it paid off really soon
But hoping to get a few things paid off tomorrow. Can't wait:T

I did it! I hit £1000
Totally forgot that my boyfriend needed to pay in his phone bill money (it comes out of my account as it was my old contract I gave to him instead of cancelling) so that was an extra £27 when I needed an extra £20 to hit £1000! So excited!
I have about £20 left until my next payday on March 7th as I need to keep most of my wages in for end of month direct debits, so won't be any more payments for 2 weeks (unless I get to cash in any surveys but they take a while for the money to come through)
My only expenses will be petrol and maybe Pepsi (my one food vice.. along with chocolate...) so hoping I can manage on the money I have left for that and not have to put any on the CC. Should be able to get to work/gym and back for two weeks on that!
So, officially #77 £1000/5300
Woot! :j0 -
Sorry to double post but a LONG awaited £4.60 just came through on one of my survey sites, so that sent me over £10 which I have cashed immediately for a Marks and Spencers voucher! Will 'swap' that with my Mum so now I will NOT be paying anything on the CC I promise!0

108 here.
Had made a few more payments. Now at £4105.26/£10,000. However, my payoff plans have now been totally derailed by very unexpected medical costs. So I think the debt will be increasing for a while.0 -

After 5 years together, I made a bit of an assumption and piped in 'But I don't have a job there yet, so can't really be committing to a house when I can't guarantee I'll get a job nearby'. Apparently he wasn't assuming I'd be buying this place with him.... Apparently one of us isn't seeing us being long term enough to risk buying together! Fuming!
I think that I would assume the same after 5yrs! What would his plan be with the mortgage repayment, surely not expecting you to contribute to his mortgage payments as well with the property all in his name?![STRIKE]Family £400[/STRIKE] CC1 [STRIKE]£415[/STRIKE] Lloyds [STRIKE]£460[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Natwest£750[/STRIKE] £627.59 Tesco [STRIKE]£1880[/STRIKE] £1725 Grand total £2,352.59

It's a long story, but to summarise, we did live together, then my job brought me 300 miles away. We've been long distance for a while, and now I'm looking for work back there. As we lived together before I'd kinda assumed we'd live together again, as we managed not to kill each other the last time around!BritAbroad wrote: »However, my payoff plans have now been totally derailed by very unexpected medical costs. I hope it's nothing too serious! Hope you (or whoever the medical costs are for) get better soon!I think that I would assume the same after 5yrs! Well I pointed this out. Apparently either I move in to his place and pay him rent (I said that was a big fat no) or we both buy separate places, live separately for a while, and then rent out one of them when we move in together (because that's not a hassle). He conceded that if I live with him and help him pay his mortgage, I could get my name on the deed. But surely I'd want to have an input on the place he buys then? I'm pretty peeved still, can you tell?0 -
