  • Small payment of £50 made to cc today. Quite disappointed with myself as I wanted to pay off quite a big chunk this month but totally overspent. I must be more strict with myself

Welcome GingerFurball! Minicooper will be along in a while to give you a number.

I am having technology issues - my laptop seems to be dying a death so i'm just checking/lurking on my phone. I have a friend who says its fixable so fingers crossed.

AFM i'm now at 25% woo!

  • Can I join the party?

Not sure what my exact situation was on Christmas Day, but in a couple of days when my February pay comes in and a couple of payments go out, I believe I'll be below £4,000 - which is about £1,000 better than where I was roughly a couple of months ago!

    Current position:

    Credit card: £2670.78
    Overdraft: £1800

    Total: £4470.78

From hunting down my statements, my position on Christmas Day appears to be as follows:

    Credit card: £2899.90
    Overdraft: £1905.77

Therefore, the amount I would like to pay off this year is £4805.67

As of the 20th February, I will have paid off £728.32 of that debt.

I've had to pay £50 on my credit card today.

Very rare that a alloy wheel for my car has popped up on eBay so I bought it as I need to get the damaged wheel on my car replaced asap.

I am hoping to pay the debt off in next weeks salary so I am not going to adjust my totals for now.

Change the locks! It'll cost a few quid but peace of mind is priceless! (And totally legal, despite any unenforceable tenancy clauses)

I had similar issues renting as a student :( back home now and won't rent again due to awful experiences. Need to get my own piece of the earth!

    *big hugs*
