First weekend in ages that we don't have a kid party, kid tutoring or kid sport activity to do so plan to kick oh & ds out of the house for a few hours on Sunday to go through the pile & update my list.

My aunt phoned me the other day to say that there had been a plan for a picnic when she got back from China, there has been a rethink to a girlie day this Saturday as her SIL had foot surgery so not exactly Usain Bolt, so all pitching up to hers. I can't make it but your comment about kicking your lot out made me chuckle as my aunt said her brother "could f*** off for the day!" Your version so much more polite:D

Thanks Starlet. My face feels back to normal now as the numbing thing has worn off, problem is now I can feel the tooth a bit sore where the dentist worked on it. Hope it doesn't last long :/

Just back from our Boots event. Saved £30 and got £12 of points so happy with that. Few Christmas presents in and a wee treat for me:T

Feeling a bit sick ATM so DH has taken the kiddies round to the Halloween disco in our community center, then I'll follow round shortly for the Lantern parade and Fireworks display with LO.
Only hoping I haven't picked up the bug that's been doing the rounds in school, that's all I need

A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Huge congratulations Freespirit, wee Max is a beauty

Not much happening here on the christmas front. Kids main presents have arrived, as did the personalised frozen book for DD.
Still up to our eyes in decorating. Hall to finish and have everything g to start our bedroom but I've developed something very similar to croup (had it last year too) so that's putting a spanner in the works. Docs tomorrow :(
