  • Hello CAFCGIRL, congratulations on the new addition DD is desperate for a dog but I know we can't afford the time it needs - also it's another mouth to feed :(

Well done on paying off the water bill and poll tax that's a relief every month I'm sure.

I know what you mean about procrastinating - I'm famous for it and the idea of an action list is a good one. I plan on concentrating on my paperwork tomorrow. Have been carrying around loads of letter that I need to answer but never seem to get the time.

Congrats on the dog, lol at the name, is it permanent or are you trying to persuade your son to pick something else?

My OH's brother has a dog called Groucho.

We used to have a dog called Rocky, he was my first baby, I do miss him.

That is good that you have cleared some debt. OH is on the phone to his mum (she always talks for a good hour or more) I am assuming there is a problem still and OH won't be getting his £10k that he is meant to just yet. He's been waiting about 7 years for it. Then there is the matter of his £50k she was meant to pay him in Dec 09 which is his share of his father's estate but she is still living in the house and has not stuck by the agreement to pay.

Hope you are having a good bank holiday weekend. We've got 3 lots of homework to get done today (don't want to be rushing tomorrow).

Oh dear I REALLY am rubbish at keeping up to date and effectively doing anything!

So I've not really managed to achieve anything :/
I dont know whats wrong with me, its just never a priority, and I always get sucked into something else and it gets put on the back burner.

One thing I have done is got my credit report so I can see (ish) who has what debt of mine so the letters I'm sending will hopefully be doing to the right people now and I'll get some responses.

I'm getting rather down and annoyed about the state of the house we live in. Its just so untidy and cluttered and it makes my head hurt. I need to have a whirlwind sort out and declutter and clear things away. I feel like my head will be clearer then as well.

TMD - No, thats now his name :) Its quite sweet really. He's a tiny little thing at the moment, but is very happy and bouncy. Sleeps a lot.... if only my son would take note! LOL

Desperate - Have you answered your letters yet hun?

KOAG - Thanks for the kick up the bum to post ;)

£2.58 literally just moved from my current account to savings account.
    That seems positive :)

Sorry you are not feeling well. Take it easy today and rest.

I need to have a good sort out and declutter too, got one load of washing to hang out, will have a shower and then crack on with sorting some stuff out. I'm helping a friend next week take stuff to the dump as my car is bigger than hers so will try and find some stuff myself to dump at the same time.

I have lots of paperwork to sort out too.

I tend to put TV on and then not get as much done.

The dog sounds lovely, I do love dogs.

I've hung the washing out, showered and got another load in the washing machine (it's a lovely day to get all the washing done).

Going to sort out some rubbish and try and sort out one lot of drawers in my office.

Charmed is on at 11am and I love that so will crack on until 11 and then watch Charmed and then carry on.

DD3 has Art after school so will collect the other two in the car and then we can walk back and collect DD3 as it's nice (need some exercise am getting rather tubby around the middle, I look pregnant).

    Enjoy your cup of tea!

Sounds like a busy day for you TMD, hope you all enjoy the walk home.

Its been glorious weather here today. I've washed DS's bedding (on the tail end of him being poorly) so that's drying on the line, kitchen has had a clean, washing up all cleared, dinner planned and will start prepping in a short while.

We've spent an hour plus in the garden, with DS just running about and entertaining himself and I've repotted some plants and sown some seeds and then sat in the sunshine for 10 mins for a boost, so Im feeling a bit better now
