Good morning CAFCGirl, come and get these offer letters done. I'm only repaying my creditors £1 per month and I had very little trouble getting them to accept this. I'll keep nagging over weekend until it's done!12/04/2019

Morning All,
Sun is shining and I've printed off my letters, got my envelopes, just need to address and stamp them and we'll walk round to post box later on today.
Also having a declutter of our house, and have got 6 listings on Freecycle in attempt to 'clear house, clear mind'
On another positive, I had my first paying massage client following getting my diploma so that was upliftingWealth is not measured by currency0 -

Im being awful at updating, and naughty me this also represents a period of money neglectful-ness *tut tut*
Right so
Positives so far:
My seed sowing is coming on and I've been making great efforts in our garden for growing our own, sourced many free items to help and its coming along nicely.
Negatives : No more paying clients as yet. I have a professional development course this Sunday so I'm hoping that gives me a boost. I'm not very good at selling myself and have been pretty lazy over the past few weeks and really I need to knuckle down.
Proactive actions taken : Found my gym paperwork and at the end of May I'll be able to give my 3 months notice. I do enjoy the gym, but I also have access to equipment at home and areas to train for my running so it represents a nice big fat chunky saving.
I've also discovered our council offers free swimming to under 13's with a council card so I sent in an application for one for my son, which was my concern about cancelling my gym membership (his swimming is included).
So although I will have to pay for myself, it will still work out cheaper than £43.95 a month that I pay at the gym with going on average once a week.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Thats great news about the free swimming (I wonder if my council does anything similar lol)
And yay for all the growing and gardening youve been doing, I really need to get down to the allotment at some point this week to transplant the sproutings we have got coming up
Thats a fab saving from the gym hunxx

The saving wont kick in for 4 months but still, at least i know in 4 months that'll be best part of £50 not being paid out.
I've had my credit report come through, so that's been printed and the membership cancelled so I don't have to pay for getting hold of it.
So thats a positive.
DH's payday tomorrow, we've been broke for a week plus so theres great temptation to go a bit crazy and spend since I feel so 'hard done by', but that's not going to help me long term....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Gave myself a stern talking to last night and again this morning, time to shape up and get stuff done!
Firstly though DS and I are off for a meet up with some other mums and their kids that I've not met before, for a cheap morning's bowling, £1 per child per game. So hopefully he'll enjoy that and I'll be back to being awesome Mumma in his eyesWealth is not measured by currency0 -
I plan on making an action list this weekend of things to get done in May. I'm an awful procrastinator and I really need to up my game!
Positive news is : we've paid off water bill in full, and thanks to a back dated pay from DH's work we'll be able to pay this years council tax in full, meaning on less bill to worry about.....
Another positive is welcoming a hairy four legged addition to our home, a 11 week old whippet pup, whom we let DS name. So we now have a dog called Duck.Wealth is not measured by currency0
