I need to get some stuff on Ebay but don't have anything much left so will do some 99p listings (have some old toddler shoes/boots that are in good condition).
Don't forget that now Ebay charge 10% fee on the postage as well as what the item sells for which is a pain.
I tend to wait for the free listing weekends, they seem to have them every two weeks so am hoping for one next weekend as have a few things to list that were left over from Xmas.
Well done on the payment and the savings.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
10% charge on a postage fee! WTH!

Goodness no wonder Im still in debt.... I'm not paying attention, and have yet again gone 2 months without logging in.
April 1st new financial year and we're taking back control.
I had no response from the full and final settlement letters I sent. Im going to re-print them and send them off again tomorrow, and will fingers crossed get a response this time (previous ones might have got lost in the Christmas post?).
I think our most easily controlled expense is going to be food. So this week is going to be all about using up, and I have £10 to use on anything we need, and if thats not spent come this time next week, it'll be squirreled away into savings potWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi
You been AWOL again!!
The time just goes by so fast these days.
Glad you have come back. I am looking forward to the new tax year too, I am ebaying like mad trying to make some money. Did OKish last weekend (only made £20 after fees but every bit helps). Had 38 items ending this weekend and sold 1 item for £1.50 (not going to make my fortune this week). Also postage goes up at the end of the month so having to up postal charge.
Hope you get responses from your F&F letters this time.

I know, I really need a kick up the behind to remind me to check in on here and spend what free time I do have on something much more productive than Pinterest..., although I do love me some Pinterest!
Hey £20 is far better than nothing at all! I have a few odd pieces that I might just put on and see what happens...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I'm also going to ttry my hand at this Swagbucks thing, although I fear I do not have a clue what I'm doing, but I no longer work in the traditional sense, although I will be qualified as a massage therapist in the next 2 weeks, but I need to find some simple things I can do to earn some penniesWealth is not measured by currency0

I've never looked at Pinterest (no idea what it is). I registered for Swagbucks ages ago but have not used it since.
Well done on becoming a massage therapist.
I don't work either but am looking for a part time job. Saw a job for a Weekend Library Assistant and filled in most of the online application but there are 7 questions to answer and they are quite difficult. I have not worked for 10 years and all my previous jobs were Word Processor Operators so no real contact with anyone so can't really answer the questions they are asking - shame!
I'm always online either here, Ebay or mainly Facebook.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Positive for today
Upon completing my massage course next week, I'll be ready to charge for treatments.
I've done a special offer to entice people (gives me an opportunity to sell myself and become their therapist of choice), of £10. I've had 4 people take up the offer, and theres no additional cost to me as I already have all the items I need (massage table, oils etc).
So that'd be £40 earnt and ready to put in a savings pot.
I've also had a letter from my previous job regarding pensions. I paid into one and then under TUPE my employment was transferred to a different company. They've sent me a letter to say I can have a refund of what I've paid in, so filled in that form and will post it off today.
It's not very much (I didn't earn very much) but it'll be somethingWealth is not measured by currency0
