End of next year I believe.....Wealth is not measured by currency0

Quick update.
Allotment has been going well. I've harvested cherries and raspberries so far and made cherry pies and crumbles, as well as raspberry coulis which is going to be put through some ice cream I'm going to try my hand at making today too.
In an effort to keep it as low cost as possible we're sourcing what we can for free. So we should have a shed come the end of the month, and some slabs for paving the walkways. IL's have also giving us a large umbrella to use for shade, and a swing chair seat.
We've also purchased a second hand cross trainer, to replace my gym membership and means we can all use it to stay a bit fitter.
Food shop this week came in slightly over budget at £74, so I need to tighten up our spending on that for the next few weeks.
We've not stuck to budget really at all, well we have in most areas. its the takeawaysAnd it's not even because its all that nice tasting, its pure laziness.....

Its that horrible point in the month when we're literally waiting till payday and have no money in the account....
So.... clearly not sticking to budget since we're meant to have £104 spare a month!
Getting annoyed with myself over not being able to manage our money. It really shouldn't be this hard.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Its probably been 1-2 a week.
We also paid out £80 for something thats happening next year so that was a good chunk, but DH also got paid about £120 overtime, so I need to whip aside any overtime extras he gets so it doesnt become just 'spare' money, and learn to live on his basic salary. Especially as the overtime wont be there forever.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Had a £10 voucher for SBugs online so did food shop and came in at £44. So that sort of makes up for the overspends on previous weeks and saves us having to go there tomorrowWealth is not measured by currency0

Plodding along.
I feel like we've done a tad better this month with spending, especially since I had a weekend away and some other bits and bobs.
Next month is going to be tougher i think as we're on lots of trips for DS and Home Ed, so I just need to not repeat the cycle of overspending on payday, to then be broke for 3 weeks.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
The allotment we've taken on is coming along nicely.
DH has been building a shed, all by himself, out of pallets. Its coming on really nicely and he's enjoying it. Weather hasnt been great for getting much else done up there as the ground has been too solid to dig over. Hopefully this weekend we'll get some more rain and then a clouded day to go over there and get on with some bits. DS hates bright sunlight so I need the summer to n*ff offWealth is not measured by currency0
