  • Ah babe I know the feeling, I was like a Rottweiler all day yesterday but feeling better today. Everyone is talking about holidays in work and it's really depressing.

We have to keep going, we will win this fight lol

    Feeling utterly rubbish today.

I feel as if this is just what our lives are going to be like forever, because I seem incapable of changing.
I spend too much money that I don't have on rubbish because I feel like I deserve it for going 3 weeks on next to nothing, which inevitably is what leaves me with nothing for the 3 weeks!

My house is a pig sty, the puppy had an accident which has resulted in a bill of nearly 2k, and is rising. We have insurance but we have to pay out for it first and then claim it back.

All I want to do is curl up in a ball and ignore everything.

Its my son's birthday today as well :(

Sorry you were having a rubbish day yesterday and to hear about your Puppies accident.

I hope your son enjoyed his birthday, how old was he?

It does suck being in debt and seems never ending, I'll probably be over 50 before I am debt free (I'm 45 now). Just when you think you have everything you need the kids shoes fall apart or they need something else. We have had to pay £15 for one school trip for DD1 that she went on today and now we have to pay another £15 for a trip for DD3. DD2 has a trip in July too but will probably only be about £6 so not so bad.

Hope your day is going better today.

    He turned 4.

I feel slightly better now, but it still just all feels so 'huge' a task.

We cant even stick to a budget, or so it seems. Partly my fault as Im mostly in charge of food, and thats where we spend a lot of unnecessary money.

Guess that's the first area to work on.

Took yesterday to write up a budget.
There are a lot of areas to improve on, and we should be almost £100 better off in 3 months time, so that's something positive :)

Trying to get on top of the house, clear some clutter and generally tidy it up. I get really affected by my surroundings so I need to get on, and sort bits out. My plan is for by the end of the weekend to have declutter, donated, recycled or disposed of 2 black bags (or the equivalent) from the house. There's just too much 'stuff'!

Put £21 into savings today and I plan on sorting out our spare bedroom and boxing up items that will take to bootfair to sell at the end of the month.

Determination is back in full force now

Hows your motivation coming along CMD?

Ive been having a really tough week, wont bore anyone with the details but it hasnt been pretty.
Thankfully it looks like I'll make the month without any DD's bouncing or incurring charges next month so here's hoping I'm back on an even keel with those.

Arranged to do a bootfair at the end of this month, I'll be extremely happy to come away with £50, and have a few items which will hopefully reach higher price points (£10 etc). Be nice to clear out some clutter as well.

Feel like I'm waiting till August a bit so we can try and follow new budget I've calculated. We gave ourselves 2 months to account for things like vet bills with Duck's injury, who is back to the vet today. Not looking forward to that bill :(
