Showing this photo really makes me miss Vegas! :(:(
Took a while collecting these mind, and cost me a bomb losing in each one !! :D:D

We had 3 winning casinos, Monte Carlo, Excalibur & Binions.....

That's a great pic. We have chips from each casino we have stayed in :)

Edit: for a minute, I thought you'd missed one, but looks like I was lied to by the dealer in Encore! Sure they told me Encore have their own individual chips, but a quick google says the opposite... Maybe the beer was playing tricks on me! ;)

40 days today!!!! :D I can not wait.

Got 3 of my 4 MyVegas rewards, and now just waiting to see how many LPs I can gather in the remaining time before I choose the last one.

Interesting to hear the chat about the MGM Signature. I really love the look of the Skylofts, but for our first trip I really wanted to be right on The Strip.

I'm having a crisis of confidence about The Cosmo though. I know it's Vegas, and I don't expect the hotel to be like a retirement home, but I see the Trip Advisor reviews about crowds of drunks in the lobby, vomiting in the corridors, constant noise from the nightclub or people having parties on their terrace.... :( and I wonder if I made the right choice. I am 35 and OH will soon be 40, and we like to have fun but wouldn't want to feel like we were in an episode of spring break.

On the other hand, everyone at my travel agency who had visited or stayed at The Cosmo had only good things to say about it, and there are Trip Advisor reviews from people saying they are in their 50s and loved their stay, and saw no trouble or drunken behaviour.

Apparently it's not too late to change my accommodation if I want to. Not sure what to do for the best!

Need to convince the wife to go back to Vegas for a 4th time in 2015
Would combining Vegas with somewhere else do the trick? The Grand Canyon? Yosemite? The Pacific Coast Highway? San Francisco?

I've had 2 short stays at Cosmo 1 night in a 1 bed terrace and 3 nights in a wraparound. I thought the rooms were lovely and really comfy beds. I love the balcony too.

We did however request at check in that we didn't want nightclub/dayclub noise but when we got to the warparound thats exactly what we had! I asked to move but they couldn't move us until next day. As there were 4 (2ad 2 ch) of us I didn't want the hassle for only a 3 night stay. I bought ear plugs and that helped!

The casino itself does has a young vibe but never had any problems with drunks or vomiting....thankfully....

I like the buffet there at Wicked Spoon, we had it included in price and was my favourite out of Wynn, Bellagio, Paris, PH etc...

I don't think you will be disappointed but obviously up to you if you want to change.

BTW I'm 39 and OH is 50 and we didn't feel out of place infact my OH quite enjoyed the scenery!

Thank, Bubble. :) We have the buffet breakfast included too.

The room with the noise, were you in the (I can't remember if it's East or West) tower nearest the strip? How high a floor was it? I already made a request with the hotel for a quiet room on a high floor.
