    Fee free ATM's
Years ago I used to use my Nationwide card in in Walmart and at an ATM near Harrah's for the best deal, not now though. Been 3 years since I visited Vegas although I have been to WI twice in that time. Just been working out where to go in Vegas, seems "All Point" ATM's are fee free and if you go on their website it shows where they are, mostly 7-11's and CVS and some at the monorail stations. I do have a Halifax c/c so will give them a go hopefully will get $500 a day out of them.
Travel on the 3rd July from Manchester direct, 3 days at Southpoint and then wherever our hats take us.
All those Allpoint one's that on their website say they are fee free aren't.
Walmart are $1.50 but only $300.

The R steak at Riviera is on groupon at mo $50 for $100

Thanks for this - I'm about 98% certain this is the restaurant a friend of ours was raving about when we met up with them last October so we may check it out too. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Misty, I stayed in the tower furthest from the strip both times, can't remember if thats east or west....Ferf will know...

First time facing city centre and had no noise, second one balcony facing Bellegio fountains and other balcony facing strip but over looking Marquee day pool. Both times I was fairly high floor 40 ish I think...

I posted a couple of pics in 2013 thread of view from balcony, i'm not very techy so not sure how to post a link to the posts, sorry. I took a pic of the cool kids in the pool (the noise matches the crowd), I like to try and spot a size 12 or above....wasn't succesful!

I agree with Ferf in that we didn't feel out of place and still really enjoyed the stay, I was just a bit miffed with them for different reasons in the fact we were staying as a group and wanted 3 rooms together or near and they couldn't even get us on the same floor....but I suppose if they are busy not a lot you can do.

Edit...Pics are on pg 88/89 of 2013 thread.

Thanks, Bubble. :) I had a look at the pics. Loving your Grand Canyon photos too!

I'm not worried about fitting in as such. We are quite "young" 30 somethings, and we do like fashion, flash hotels and bars and whatnot. But we are also pretty quiet, and prefer a nice dinner and a few cocktails in a lounge to getting plastered and shouting a lot. :D So I was a little concerned at what I'd read about The Cosmo. I think I'll stick with it though, and with luck all will be well. :)

Has anyone used Goldstar for tickets to shows in Vegas,

Just found a bargain on there but never used them before and am wary as they are qouting the full price as $10 less than the official site to start with

I haven't used the personally, but I have read people recommending them on other Vegas sites.

We have used them a couple of times. Human Nature and Terry Fator I think.

    They were fine.

We saw the forever DooWop show. It was very good. It's the same group of musicians that do both shows. We will be seeing the other in September.
