I don't think any of the hotels, on the strip at least, have indoor pools...I think Platinum may have an indoor/outdoor pool.

They do, but it has a sort of passageway leading between both so I'd imagine the indoor part would also be cold in winter. I've only been in summer but maybe someone has been in winter and can confirm. Or email derekmorrison@lvplatinum.com and ask.

    Excellent point thanks - hadn't considered balcony/terrace.

Just be aware it's not always allowed on balconies. Still private property so the hotel sets the rules when it comes to this. At Platinum it's not allowed. I don't know about others. Just thought I'd mention in case you want to check first.

Just watching the show on The Palazzo on C5+1 now ahhhh amazing!

I want to go back to Cosmo but it's definitely more expensive than last year. I racked up big points through slots and haven't had an email with an offer from them yet :(

I watched that biggest hotel about the Palazzo a while back, mad to see how they do things, especially the food in the kitchen and how they get it from A to B ! proper mental! Good show though, did enjoy that!

maybe give them a call and see if there is anything available? Maybe your email didn't take in their system or something...we received our first offers from them with very little play so a bit surprised if you haven't had one...though maybe they do it that way, tempt the lower level players in for more with free rooms, perhaps.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Is that sweet spot 8 x 24 hour periods.

Booking in weekly blocks is usually the best value and often a weeks rental is the same price as 4 days, which i think is what you are finding

was doing 2pm pick up and 12 noon return.

I'll be playing with it for a while yet - probably book towards the end of this month when we decide where we want to go with the car.

I have been thinking for a whole about booking a trip to Vegas. it will be my first time & I travel solo.

how long do you think is long enough for your first trip? I imagine as a first timer you probably do a lot of the touristy things and need to spend a little time getting your bearings etc...

also I only really know Vegas from what yo see on tv / films but it's always been one of those places I'd like to see, so apart from casinos & shopping what else you recommend a first timer to check out? I'm willing to give anything a go so no limits.

thanks for reading & looking forward to your replies :)
  • Skydive.

I'm doing in Seville on Monday and I'm expecting to love it and to then do it over Vegas in May as it's so cheap compared to many other parts of the world. Plus I imagine the view must be ridiculous out in the desert.

Depends on whether you are hiring a car and want to tour round the area or if you are just staying in Vegas. I think the high spots of Vegas can be done in a week. There are plenty of folk on here who go for longer who will say a week is not enough.
