We have seen Vegas the Show several time and it has changed a bit too. We enjoy it because it's a walk through Vegas history.

Marquee at Cosmo had a long line last Friday afternoon for the day club. I've heard it's as long at night.

You now get 5 shares a day on Social Rewards. I was fully expecting that watching a video would now use a share, but it didn't.

I'm not sure a group of 8 guys would easily be able to get into a club without buying table service? But I don't really know how these things work...I have seen the queues for at least one of the clubs at Wynn...XS queue can be massive...maybe hotel guests have an advantage? Something worth considering looking into if clubs are an important part of the trip as maybe that will swing which hotel might work. I suppose we've seen big queues for other clubs as well.

8 guys will really struggle to get into a club without buying table service.

We had a group of 50% guys 50% girls and still struggled to get into the night club at Caesars. Most of the clubs prefer a 75% girl 25% guy ratio.

Getting there nice and early might improve your chances, as we only really struggled to get into our last club at 1am.

Yes seems we will have to go table service which we are prepared for, kind of reason why looking to get flights and accomo as cheap as possible to compensate!

There are far, far cheaper hotels than those you are looking at - Wynn and Cosmo are at the top end of hotel choices, really...just depends on what your expectations are and what you might accept instead. I'd assumed you were set on top end hotels since you only named those two.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yes one of the top hotels at the best price we can find, got a quote for MGM at £185pp for 4 nights, personally not keen to stay there

Check out Planet Hollywood. It has a young vibe. It's right across the street from Cosmo and far cheaper. The first page has links to total rewards and you can join up online to get offers.

Personally, I wouldn't book with anyone giving a pppn figure, but that's just me. It's usually not the way hotels sell their rooms in Vegas. We are currently at PH paying $40 per night for both of us.

Noticed this earlier, I did 3 shares then noticed I had 2 shares left. Was a bit puzzled and wondered if 2 of them hadn't counted, then my husband said tonight he had 5 shares. Good news they are upping it. Not sure if there will be enough stuff to share, but good to have them just in case. I've had quite a lot of stuff still to share each day and not been able to due to the restrictions of only having 3 per day. :) Fairly racking up the points now. I've got $140 worth in my total rewards account and another 1200 points ($12) sitting in my social rewards. I'm still sticking with the 'keep 1000 at all times' theory. I know I'm now within 6 months of travel, but what if our trip was somehow cancelled and we couldn't redeem in September as planned.

I'm going to have to make a list of ideas of what to spend them on. Anyone know any nice bars? I wondered about the Piano Bar at Paris maybe. Maybe somewhere I'd rather not spend real $$ :)
