Has anyone seen Absinthe? My husband is showing an interest in seeing it in September. I see that on Vegas.com tickets are $103, total would be $226 for 2 tickets. I think that's a lot. And that's a promo!! I've asked Pebbles if she can check tickets 4 tonight while there, but does anyone else know any deals for it?

I have also considered that we could use our Social Rewards/Total Rewards credit for it. Presumably we could. Would we just go to a ticket desk and ask? Would it be highly priced (although comped), and therefore perhaps a bit of a waste of our points? We have $140 worth each just now, hoping to have $200 each by the time we go. :)

travelzoo is doing $98 tickets, but not much of a saving... there is usually someone standing outside the venue at CP giving out flyers which I think were for 20% or $20 off - so don't know how that would work out?

Lesley, I haven't seen it on tix 4 tonight but it's been very busy this weekend with the fight and Kentucky derby. I'll have another look later in the week.

We've stayed in both but no interest in clubs (and as a married 40somethign couple we're likely a lot different than the group on the stag do). Cosmo is mid-strip. Wynn is north strip. Cosmo is more centrally located, but if you are only going for 4 nights and want to be close to specific clubs in Wynn then maybe Wynn or their sister property (Encore) would be better for you...Cosmo would be our choice and suits the demographic involved as well. The distance between them is not that great in the grand scheme of things.

We always book direct with the hotels, but lowcostusa seems to have good deals for the higher-end properties and several here have used them.

Thanks for reply, I will certainly look at both options and see what may come up between them pricewise

Anyone know where I can find out details of the main differences in the rooms, ie justify paying more for certain room etc?

The best bet is to ask here. There are usually photos and floor plans on the hotel websites, but between us we have stayed at most hotesl in Vegas.

We have seen Absinthe and really enjoyed it. You have to be quite broad minded though. They used to had out $20 off coupons outside the venue during the day.

Have you considered Rose. Rabbit. Lie.? It's a new show at the Cosmo by the same people.

I don't exactly, thanks for your reply. Reason say Wynn is it has clubs within that we are keen to go to, however seems Cosmo is better located, have you stayed at both? What would you recommend and where did you go to source your accomodation?

Cosmo has it's own clubs, unless you specifically want to go to the ones at Wynn. Cosmo would also out you much closer to the MGM where the likes of Calvin Harris and Tiesto regularly appear.
