I agree, try the links on the first page and see if you can beat the price. Not sure if you are set on the Wynn for some reason. It's a lovely property but it's quite far north. It depends where you foresee spending your evenings. It would be a fab hotel for a splurge though, however there are cheaper options if you are concerned by price, while wanting a quality hotel. MGM is a fun property (lazy river etc, but check opening months), some of the City Center properties (Aria, Vdara, Cosmopolitan) are very nice while being very central. All depends what you are looking for.

    Try https://www.skyscanner.co.uk and http://www.vegashotelspecial.com/

Deals for Wynn are few and far between, however I have an email deal just now that I am allowed to send to a friend...so if a $139 midweek $199 weekend rate is of any interest to anyone then just pm me your email address.

Has anyone seen Absinthe? My husband is showing an interest in seeing it in September. I see that on Vegas.com tickets are $103, total would be $226 for 2 tickets. I think that's a lot. And that's a promo!! I've asked Pebbles if she can check tickets 4 tonight while there, but does anyone else know any deals for it?

I have also considered that we could use our Social Rewards/Total Rewards credit for it. Presumably we could. Would we just go to a ticket desk and ask? Would it be highly priced (although comped), and therefore perhaps a bit of a waste of our points? We have $140 worth each just now, hoping to have $200 each by the time we go. :)

IMO Cosmo is a more bang for your buck place and better location but that's just me.

Check the links on page 1...lowcostusa seems to regularly have good prices for Comso (relative to prices other 3rd parties and seems to usually be cheaper than booking direct).

we have seen it and thought it was fantastic but for $103 I agree that seems like a lot...pretty sure we paid about $65 or so but that was a few years ago...it's a small venue so probably no bad seats and you're much closer to the performers than any other similar type shows...and if they are regularly selling out I can understand increasing ticket prices.

Whether it would be a good use of your points probably depends on how much you guys want to see it. We really liked it, but it would not be to everyone's taste...it's not on the list of options for our next trip with my in-laws, for example...some of the host's comments are just way too racy for me to think of sitting with my in-laws during the show.

As far as I know you could use TR credits toward it and should be something you could do at the ticket desk though it's not something I've done in ages...but usually anywhere you can use TR credits you just present your card to pay for whatever portion you want. If you're staying at a hotel within the group you can charge to your room and then apply points before you check out.

I presume then that you know where Wynn is? For a stag I would think you would be better with somewhere a bit more central and "fun".
Cosmo IMO would be better but obviously neither is a cheap Strip hotel option

Thanks ferf. Glad you enjoyed it. We have bought show tickets from the box offices a few times and it has worked out ok. At Rio we bought Penn & Teller tickets. We wanted them for that night but the show was off because one of them was ill. The guy apologised and offered us a locals deal including programme the next night. It was a couple of dollars less than the coupon we had, and included the programme. Good result. Another time we decided to stop by at Love and see if we could get a decent deal. We were happy with what they offered us for that evening.

I wonder however if the cash price they would offer would be better than a comp price. I wonder if a comp price would strictly be full price....I hope someone might know. I have been having a search on google and found examples of $70 tickets (albeit last year), so I won't be paying $102 hopefully :) Thanks.

Thanks for all your replies, would you say Cosmo is better placed than Wynn then? Is that one of the better sites to find accomodation?

I don't exactly, thanks for your reply. Reason say Wynn is it has clubs within that we are keen to go to, however seems Cosmo is better located, have you stayed at both? What would you recommend and where did you go to source your accomodation?

We've stayed in both but no interest in clubs (and as a married 40somethign couple we're likely a lot different than the group on the stag do). Cosmo is mid-strip. Wynn is north strip. Cosmo is more centrally located, but if you are only going for 4 nights and want to be close to specific clubs in Wynn then maybe Wynn or their sister property (Encore) would be better for you...Cosmo would be our choice and suits the demographic involved as well. The distance between them is not that great in the grand scheme of things.

We always book direct with the hotels, but lowcostusa seems to have good deals for the higher-end properties and several here have used them.
