Spot on re the WAX. Also if you have access to google earth and type in the Zip code 89109 the street view will show it very clearly.
Good luck.0 -
I dont see how it works, am i being stupid?
found this about it being banned though so I guess it must work
The gadget does not violate any FAA regulations (it can't be used during taxi, takeoff, and landing, when the tray must be upright), but airlines have the right to forbid its use. Northwest, American, and Continental Airlines have done so,
Would these not work? http://www.screwfix.com/p/forge-steel-spring-clamp-4-pack-of-2/367210 -

Thomas Cook are doing weekly flights from GLA to LAS from May to October next year with prices for £499 so may be doing Belfast as well. Need to factor in paying for 15kgs baggage and all food and drinks I believe.
Interesting, however I just looked up the Thomas Cook website and there's nothing for May 2015 on there for Glasgow to Vegas. Where did you see this? I'd also need a wee luggage upgrade, but would be worth looking into given that US airways are charging over £700 these days from Glasgow. Would be interesting to see a bit of competition.0 -

Lesley, my friend told me it was in the Evening Times which I assume is a Glasgow paper.0

Perhaps very recent and not yet available for sale. Yes, I know the Evening Times but don't read it. Thank you!
Edited to add: I can see the packages from just over £800 on the Airtours site. Circus Circus is cheapest, then Mardi Gras, and then there's the likes of Excalibur, Harrah's, Rio, Bally's then Flamingo. Don't think there's any better hotels. I've found more packages and hotel choices on Thomas cook website.
20kg luggage + 5kg hand luggage. Not too bad if going for a week and not shopping too much (or packing very lightly going and shopping a little more while there!).
I was initially looking for the flight only option, still can't find it. I'll be keeping an eye on this though, if the flights don't fill there could be bargains to be had.0 -
Do there tend to be any discounts or vouchers available for the rides on top of the Stratosphere? Or will I have to pay full whack for them?0
