We are off in 3 weeks - cannot wait! While there we want to watch Penn and Teller - are we better off getting tickets now or waiting until we get there?
I dont know how much tickets are if you wait but they are on offer for $50 on travelzoo at the mo

We booked via this offer and the seats were very good. We were dead centre in the front of the mezzanine. Would recommend.0 -
They have toilets on those planes now? Wow!
you say that in jest but...
our flight out was delayed by an hour due to issues with the loos...I don't know exactly what those issues were but 3 were out of service for our flight...one in Upper, one in PE downstairs (the only one in PE downstairs) and I assume one in the bubble (not sure on that, it wasn't any of the first set in economy downstairs).
Mid flight they started making those of us in PE go back to economy rather than up to the upper loo (the one of two working) as they said it was nearly full.
It worked out OK, but I was a bit anxious about the bundle before landing...as nothing makes me need the loo more than feeling I might not be get the chance.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
bah - I know I've had this whinge before but I still think touchscreen on long distance flights is the worst invention ever (unless you're on the back row)
I do not disagree with you. but I'm very conscious of not poking the screen as it drives me mad when the person behind me does.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

hmmm, I can't remember the cost (i'll blame the alcohol for that one too) - it's sure convenient though
- not had a frazzled one (yet), but we always have a full one, freshly made from scratch
Like you we had the whole pizza, and not just a slice. Stoneman - I know what you mean about slices, they have to be quite fresh/reheatable.
I do remember though I asked about the cheese, they used a blend, but had mozzarella on it's own too. I avoid parmesan due to being vegetarian. So I don't eat pizza at some outlets, like the one at casino royal that might be closed now. Sbarro etc are all fine. We sometimes have a slice at bally's Sbarro as we pass through from Platinum to the strip or back.
We're going to get a LVA membership/book, so that will probably define some of our eating options. That along with our Social Rewards points (nvh and pebbles - thanks for the encouragement on this one!). We have bought two groupon deals for comedy clubs so far. Vegas Live at Planet Ho, and the one at The Trop. Unfortunately the former appears to have been redeemed within hours of my purchase, so I'm currently disputing this with groupon and awaiting their response!
Off to see if restaurant.com prices have dropped today.0 -
had an email about a r.com code - MOM, good until tomorrow pre-US mother's day...says 3.60 for $15 voucher...not sure if it will discount a $25 voucher but worth trying.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Seat reclining should be banned!
Especially when you get a 6'7"giant in front of you and you cannot recline!!I have to say I was hitting that touch screen as hard as I could and "accidentally kicking the back of his chair!!:mad:0 -

It would be fine if people were considerate and followed some simple rules.
1. Is this a night flight?
No - do not recline
Yes - continue to question 2
2. Are you imminently going to sleep
No - do not recline
Yes - recline only whilst asleep
Can you tell I get annoyed by these people? The worst ones are the ones who recline as soon as the seatbelt sign is off.0 -
The worst ones are the ones who recline as soon as the seatbelt sign is off.
And recline aaaaaaall the way and then try for more by slamming into it repeatedly. And sit forward for the meal while leaving their seat in my lap...then later sit forward just for the heck of it while leaving their seat reclined.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
