I could kick myself right now. Why did I chose to be civil and do things properly. Cutting the wires Christmas morning would have been fun and would teach them a lesson.:A
For one day of my life I would like to walk on the wild side. Hehehe

You chose to do the civil thing because criminal damage would be a stupid idea and you're not stupid.

Ok party pooper :p I am joking by the way.
So would I class the holes in my wall as criminal damage or does it not count if done by a corporation?

The holes in your wall would only be criminal damage if done maliciously. At worst, this whole saga seems to be incompetence and neighbours with a careless attitude.

BTW I realise you were joking, but you did ask the question ;)

Far be it for me to cause panic or alarm, but regardless of the truly awful installation, its not your wall.
Its a party wall, and probably in common ownership.

A murky area of the law.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Whatever compensation you asked for in original email, triple it if you have to wait til 8th Jan.

I don't think its a party wall. Although happy to be proved wrong.
