Few presents left to wrap - boys are done
    S&S the bathroom
    Dust round the whole downstairs
Vacuum through downstairs.. and the stairs!
Get out any special christmas crockery and make sure it is all clean and nice to use.. placemats etc too!

Only the bathroom left to do upstairs. Downstairs needs a tickle throughout and some more intense work on the DR and the Snug.

5 of our 6 guests for the big day have cancelled which takes the pressure off a little :p

    Morning All

Well I managed to sort the bedroom out last night so I could get into bed so that's done now and I'll put all the presents in there later today.

    TD is on

Just need to get dressed and put the WM on then I'm nipping to Mr As to get the last few bits of food I need.

    Have a good day all

    Good morning

Up with a dash when I heard the dustcart outside, left our bin in due to the high winds, caught them outside, wow the grass is sodden.

Dry PJ bottoms and a cuppa now. Trying to find my Christmas spirit. I can see one hurdle panel is down despite DH propping it with a bin so I'll investigate outside when it is daylight.

    Take care out there ladies.

    Morning,

We are up. Just put my bin out too, but not too wild here. More bedding to wash and dry today. Might go make a start. Arranged re-delivery of my parcel for Saturday. Can't be bothered traipsing the kids out just for that.

We're all set really. Just waiting for people to arrive - mum will fill the fridge and the menfolk can help after kiddies are asleep to get the BIKE and DOLLS house down from the loft. Other than that it's just fetching and carrying.

I should be careful, lol, DS is looking over my shoulder and can read all sorts now  we adults can't even spell out stuff now to each other - he just shouts out what we're tying not to say :rotfl:

I took 2 parrots when I got home yesterday afternoon but no more after that. I have had my first pain-free night since June 16th :D so definitely a good result - thanks to our wonderful local NHS physios for the great Christmas present :T:T:T

I managed to clear most of the study bedroom before I went to bed and even did about half the wrapping. Am about to do the rest as soon as I've had my shower and breakfast. Also have to send about 20 e-cards to various people who are either abroad or have sent us late cards

After that, I have pictures and 2 curtain rails to put up and the whole house to clean, starting from the top! But it is definitely do-able. I shall be making beds and sewing curtains on Boxing Day, so that everything is ready for the family on 27th. We are going to DS1's house for Christmas dinner.

The red cabbage for tomorrow and Thursday has simmered overnight in the SC and is yummy :p - and it *hasn't* stuck to the casserole dish :rotfl:

Safe journey vibes to jttou and anyone else travelling today.

(((Hugs))) and spoons to everyone, and I'm throwing armfuls of sticks out into the fields to keep BDs at bay over the festive season.

In case I don't get a chance to post again later today, Happy Christmas to all, and to all with children a good night!

    Ironing all done
    WM on
DH and DS1 away to work

Heading to the shower next and then bathroom cleaning. I want all the 'housework' done before I take DS2 to work at midday, may stop at the shops then if I can park. Then this afternoon DS3 and I can bake and prep food before sitting down to watch a film together.

JTTOU it is calm here in Herts now so I hope you have a good trip

Ionafan brilliant news hat you have 'been fixed'

Piggers did you sort out where your children will spend tomorrow?
