hi GMOOD - and you - look at your signature - you too have paid off loads so you know what the sacrifices are like. We will get there.
A lovely sunny day so have washed everything that is not packed away or nailed down.
Already have bids on my ebay items. Just going to photo graph saddles this morning.
Cashed in another £5 on swagbucks and £5 on Mysurvey.0 -
Hi LAM,
Good to see you have carried out doing so fantastically, whilst I have been AWOL and fell off the wagon! I'm back, and hopefully getting back on track with clearing my debts, so to see you doing so well gives me hope I can do it too!0 -
Hi Eyebright - thanks for popping in.
I have also slacked a bit but then the emergency spend was the jolt that I needed to get going again as I realised how important it is to be debt free and have some emergency funds!
I managed to transfer the amount owing to my other credit card which just happens to be offering me a balance transfer with 0% interest.
I have also sold one of my saddles which I have used to pay the balance off the credit card. The rest I will pay off slowly until November by which time I am hoping I have paid my loan off and then can pay off credit card quickly. Of course all of this is based on no further Emergencies !!:o
I have made £52 on ebay after postage and charges so sending that to the loan. I am dropping off the other saddle at a saddler who will sell it for me so hopefully it wont take too long to sell.
Need to do another 50 points on MSurvey and then can cash out another fiver but sods law there are no surveys at the moment lol.
Hope everyone else doing ok.0 -
I seem to update my diary weekly. Not much really seems to happen day to day but then when I look back I can see I have had a really good week.
I managed to sell both saddles not exactly what I hoped for them but better than what the dealers would have given. So interest card paid off and enough left over to pay some off the loan and put £100 back in horse emergency fund for now. Will leave the interest free one for now which is 15 months and at the moment based on my spreadsheet my loan will be paid up in October which means I can then pay off interest free credit card by December!
I have requested another fiver on Swaggers and have a couple of surveys to do on MSurvey and should be able to cash another fiver there over the weekend.
Payday next week and some overtime to hit so feeling a bit better about everything at the moment.
Going to help a friend out at a horse competition this weekend and the weather looks set to be fine so it should be a good one.
Hope everyone else has a nice weekend too0 -
Well done on the sales :T
I seem to be getting screened out a lot on surveys at the moment, I'm so close to cashing in! I think I need to get there earlier.

I have done no surveys this week and only minimum on Swags - just been so busy at work and too tired in the evening.
Had pay day and have put £200 from my overtime into the loan. Will see at the end of the month once all the DD goes out what is left to make another overpayment.
Am hoping after June's dd to the loan I will be under £3k. Such an amazing feeling - a few years back - even last year I never thought I would see the day that I wouldn't have debt hanging over my head.0 -
