  • It's been an interesting week and not one that I would like to repeat.

But eventually the big bosses in Mr lgp's work decided that he could finish his project in the UK and did not need to travel.:j:j to say we are relieved is an understatement.

I bought a 3 dresses in the sales for work with 25% discount and cashback. Oh and necklace from flea b at

Opened a betting account with cash back, deposited less than the cash back and won 50%. Fingers crossed the free bet I got will come in also.

Still working on my mortgage paperwork and it's only the tax office left so all should be well.:T. Once this goes through I am hoping to have 4k to put into the mortgage or savings pot. It's an amalgamation of saving and bonus left overs.

Not much planned this weekend just a chill out so should be cheap and I will be back on the wagon next week.

Glad to hear things have worked out for Mr LGP!

Have fun with the netball, I used to play a few times a week (ages and ages ago) and I'd love to join a club again but I'd probably need to teach myself how to run again first, I'm so unfit.

Hi LGP, good luck with the netball, that sounds fab and so much fun! I'm glad Mr LGP didn't have to travel (I'm very intrigued about where he would have been going:p)

  • Today has been a declutter day. Managed to clear 2 bin bags of stuff from the wardrobe. Lots of stuff that I keep putting off chucking for years. So the majority will go to charity and the rest mostly monsoon dresses and skirts will go one fleabay. Mr Lgp adjusted the cupboard under the sink so that we can get more in and I had a throw out of old stuff or used odd ends its now looking good.

Went into the local town and bought a frying pan and it had 60% off . Trying to buy a fire safe but they are really expensive so we have decided to scan it onto the computer and then have another massive clear out.

  • Still on the journey to be thinner. I normally have every excuse under the sun why I should not eat rubbish but my hand tends to pop it in my mouth before the willpower has kicked in. So I have had a very strong and direct conversation with myself to be good for a month and see how much I can achieve.
I am still on the lent challenge where I only can eat food I have taken to work. This is doing well and as long as I'm planned its easy.

On the money front we are still waiting for the tax office paperwork to complete the mortgage. But apart from that all is well. I need to flea bay on Sat ready for Sunday.

Locked me and hubby out of our savings accounts. Oops

Anyway better eat some toast and go to work

  • It's been a good day today was going to buy a new summer jacket yesterday but couldn't log into my account and today it was reduced from 95 to 59 and then I got cashback. So £53 for a white stuff coat.

Day off tomorrow and not sure what to do but it will be something cheap :D

Gradually clearing out the food cupboards, will get to the bottom or back before buying any more food apart from fruit and veg. Bring on all the strange meals. I hope for another 2 weeks.
