Back to normal, spaghetti Bolognese for tea from the freezer bulked out with grated carrot. Friend bought me a sandwich for lunch today so it was a no spend day.

Need to be really good over the weekend or the frivolity will catch up on us weight and money wise.

A Friend has asked me to help rent her a car in France for a week, has anyone got any tips as it seems to be a bit of a minefield.

Still doing the f2f mortgage paperwork when will it end:eek:

  • Today I shall be lurking on eBay trying to list. I hate doing it but it's still a cash generator.

Yesterday was spent in the garden in the lovely sunshine, trying to clear the borders ready for planting hopefully tomorrow. Made cauliflower cheese and leek and potatoes soup and 5 loads of washing was actually dried on the line.:D

Mum is going to a car boot on Monday and is going to fingers crossed pick up some more plants. Our garden is not big but seems to swallow everything and I don't want to spend loads. Sil starts off potatoes in bags for us each year and they are comming soon. Yum yum.

First d have valued our house higher than we thought so Mr Lgp is very happy.

    Happy Easter

  • Heating failed this morning so we had to buy a new pump to fix it £175 later and the house is warm. I am very luck Mr Lgp was able to fix it as the plumber would have been a lot more expensive. This gave me chance to get into the garden and dig the borders ready for plants. Zumba is not on tonight :) good job as I am now feeling a bit weedy and need a hot bath.

phone listed on eBay has had one cheeky offer of half the price they are going for. The person said he was doing me a favour.... I think not. Fingers crossed I don't eat my own words.

Well done on the weight loss and the gardening LGP, I imagine gardening burned off a few calories? I need to loose a few lbs myself, I've put on half a stone in the past few months by eating a load of !!!! so I've set myself a challenge of losing 7lbs in 7 weeks as that's when I go on holiday.:)

Shame about spending on the heating, but as you say, it could have been worse. Well done mr LGP for being so handy.:T good luck for eBay

  • Mortgage should go through at the end of the month at last.

I get paid in two days and there's a small buffer in the account which I will transfer into savings. Have been good recently and the credit card is not looking too bad. Shopping at alde was £56 but I was naughty and bought a plant for the garden 5.99 so was on budget apart from that.

Leek soup for tea with some raspberries and yoghurt.
