Comfrey oil is fab for bruises and bumps. Have tried it for first time after fall on stairs and most impressed. Might even try making some (sure mr google will know how to).
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. I am now going a bit yellow but it's all in the right direction. Will definitely get some oil though to make it go quicker. Thanks Watty, Crumpets and Gg.

I went to the gym tonight and did a totally killer routine. Felt good after though I was a lovely shade of red:D.

Went to dinner today with a friend from work and used a present voucher and my taste card so dinner, shared a desert and a diet coke was a massive £4.45. I like dinners out being this cheap.

  • Sorry I have been neglecting the diary but am pleased to say that we are nearly there with the garden. :j.

Also the bank accounts are all transferred.

Lost 1lb this week at slimming

Saw Paul Hollywood`s show as it was a birthday present. The cooking was great but now not a fan of the man.

Have managed it save 3k over the last couple of months but am trying to debate if to pay off the mortgage or put it in the emergency fund.

  • Garden is now done and I lost 1.5 lb this week.

Had pork and mash for tea. Also had low fat yoghurt raspberries with a crumbled half chocolate muffin. All food was reduced or freezer.so very mse.

Hubbys car is going into the fixers as the engine light keeps comming off and on. so I'm holding off on the mortgage overpayment. He says it may be £1500 but we are crossing our fingers it is cheaper.

Hi LGP, you're doing brilliantly with your weight loss, I seem to have hit a bit of a wall ATM, I keep putting on and losing the same 2lb:(

I'm not a fan of Paul Hollywood - what was it that put you off him?

Crumpets he kept making jokes about the area I live. How our intelligence was less than other areas and that anyone not sitting in the stalls was cheap.

A lady in the audience was asked up on stage because it was her 30th birthday and she was to finish off a black forest gateaux he had made, he kept making fun in what she doing and at the end looked her up and down cut a quarter of the cake off and then asked her if that was enough as there were two of them. Maybe he is just not my sense of humour. His cooking was good though and my friend and I had a good time.

  • Yellow sticker shopping tonight was very fruitful parden the pun.

Pork and Apple burgers x6 1.77
    Fruit half price
Chinese pork chops and chilli chicken 2.33 a packet which was split into 5 meals.

Personally I have worked out that our local supermarket if I go in at 7 or 8 has the best reductions and I don't have to compete with anyone else.:D.

PH sounds awful, it's a good job he can bake as it doesn't sound like he has many redeeming qualities :(

Well done on the YS shopping :j
