Mixed bag today. Stressful day and hubby and I seem to be so stressed out that we are not talking properly. I hate the politics of work at the moment. So we went out for dinner to chat. The dinner was nice but I may book a weekend away. Not very :money: but happiness is more important.Mortgage value was £135,000 now £43,218

Not much to report, going to make an overpayment of cashback it's £20 and hopefully there should be another £30 shortly. We spent a bit of money on Saturday cake and drinks.
Credit card was high due to the car repairs. So we are now eating out the freezer in order to save some money. It's been full for a short amount of time with reduced meat so it will be good to have space again.
Today I have mostly been clearing the house and cooking dinner. Roast chicken was made lovely with a herb flavour pot much cheaper than fresh herbs as they normally die on me.

just updated my signature and feeling pretty happy about it, if I can save 300 pound to overpay this month we will be in the next bracket. I know that only the people on this forum will understand how exciting this feels.
Crappy day at work, good gym session so this has topped the day off well.

Well done on the op's LGP, I understand exactly what you mean about getting into the next bracket, my mortgage has been hovering around the next bracket for what seems like ages and I can't wait for July's payment to go out so it will finally get under it!
Work sounds stressy for you at the moment so I hope that resolves itself soon. I like the idea of you op'ing when you get the urge to splurgeI might try that myself

Awesome OP, LGP! :Ta penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0
