Crikey, LGP, I'm impressed you got up and did things - I would have just laid in bed watching the clock ;)

    Great weightloss, well done you!

And have a super happy birthday! :bdaycake: Enjoy Valencia!

  • Thank you everyone for your birthday messages. Valencia was fantastic and was a lovely girly break. We didn't spend lots of money on food or drink as we seemed to hunt out the local places with the help of the local guide that we used.

We took the tube into the centre of town from the airport which was so easy and 4 euros. Lots of the small attractions were include in the guides price and because there was only 2 of us we could stop where we wanted. Food market is great (free) and I bought some flavoured oil and vinegar yum yum.
Arts and science centre is amazing and great for pictures. Sadly we didn't have enough time to go round but it looks well worth it.

Cocktails are really good but  so strong it made for a cheap night :D

Just trying to eat healthy as its the Savoy tomorrow :T. Pictures to follow of the cakes and experience.

I called in to Valencia on a cruise - I thought the Arts and Science Centre looked amazing. On a cruise it's just a whistle stop tour - few photos and on to the next attraction.

It sounds like you had a good time though, and the Savoy tomorrow? You are getting out and about. I will look forward to pictures of cakes - it's almost as good as eating them:rotfl:

    Ooh pictures, can't wait :D

Valencia sounded fab, I forgot they had that amazing arts centre building there, would love to see it (think I could look at it all day, it's rather hypnotic!)

  • This will be quick, Savoy was fab and yummy, pictures to follow.
Back to work tomorrow :( as I need to earn some money and stop spending it on enjoying myself.
