Well done on the Walky run LGP, I still haven't managed a run, there just aren't enough hours in the day.

I understand your disappointment about spending but try not to beat yourself up too much. It could have been a lot worse and slippers are a necessity in my opinion.

  • I agree, slippers are definitely a necessity! And £9 for a pair is pretty cheap these days :T

  • Thanks for comments PM, they are Totes ones and were 50% off. They are actually reserved in a shop close to where I work so I am still in two minds to call them and cancel as I haven't paid for them.

Hubby has agreed to put up the pictures up today and we are having a day at home sorting out jobs, cleaning the car instead of taking somewhere like Mr T's who will want £25 for my little car . I have the filing cabinet to go though to shred all unwanted papers.

Tonight is a meal at the beefeater, so it wont be too expensive. My friends husband was under instructions to get a beefeater card so hopefully we will get some money off.

    Happy days

  • Hello All

After an interesting and not in a good way experience last night. Friends were great but the restaurant wasn't and we are both not feeling well this morning.

The shredding is done and one of the pictures is up.

    Need to
Wash my car after the ice has melted
Menu plan for next week, I am hoping for a £10 food shop only.
Lay on the sofa and watch a film....:)
Write a review for the restaurant.

  • Hello
Todays is a NSD and I decided not to pick up the slippers as shopping is now making me feel guilty. I will phone tomorrow to cancel.

My colleagues keep coming back with purchases from the local town but I am still resisting :D

As as a treat for tea we are having pancakes, it was an out of date mix I found in the back of the cupboard but I am sure it will be fine.

Loved Sherlock yesterday, I wish there was more than 3 in a series.

Went to the gym tonight and was totally embarrassed doing a wiggly worm in front of the advanced kick boxers.

Hey Ho will be thinner if nothing else.

Sorry to hear your evening didn't go to plan LGP, are you going to complain? I hope you're feeling better now.

I haven't managed to watch Sherlock at all this year:eek: We have it in the planner to watch but seem to be so exhausted at the moment that we can't keep our eyes open in the evenings. Can't wait to watch it:j

    Well done on the gym:T

  • Crumpets,
Sherlock is very fantastic, save it for a time that you can keep your eyes open as its totally worth it. :D I even put the forum down so it must have been good. lol

We did complain at said restaurant but it wasn't heard. I am going to vote with my feet instead.

I do like going to a kick boxing gym, especially when the men start taking there tops off. Not good when you are bright pink and puffing though lol :D

  • Good news

Had my year end review today and I have been awarded a bonus, as I have met all my targets. It needs to go through the final signoff but fingers crossed it should be a nice sum.

Now I have a dilemma do I pay it directly into the mortgage or do I spend it. To be honest I don't need anything so I should put it into the mortgage or savings.

On the spending front I never picked up the slippers as I ended up waking in the night thinking about them. How sad is that.

Dinners this week have all been freezer food so have spent under £10.
