A lot of my savings have gone on two very big vet bills in the past few days. I lost my little girl to feline diabetes and pancreatitis last May, sadly today her brother followed her to the Rainbow Bridge with exactly the same illness.
Deep breath, stiff upper lip and back to sifting away the pennies for my NZ trip.0 -

Lucky you. Since the new Lotto started (£2 a punt) I have received nothing out of my 4 lines. I used to get the occasional £10 (for 3 numbers).

Sorry to hear your news Sparrer, thinking of you.
My cat had to go to the vets yesterday as an emergency-thankfully she is much better today, but I am also £77.78 worse off. At least I now put money aside for emergencies.
Did a YouGov survey today which took me over the 5000 points needed for a £50 pay out. Hopefully I shall get that by the end of the month and it will all go into savingsPay off all your debts by Christmas 2025 no. 15 £0/69490 -

My first post for the year also. My commiserations to Sparrer. My cat makes me want to go home after work. I am so sorry for your loss.
Am barely back from the X-Mas break and am already buying flights for February. It realy sucks when your kids live abroad. Nothing saved yet, will have to wait for payday.
