Are you saying put £5k, for instance, away and that it should still be there at the end of the year? Obviously you cannot make anything much in interest.
This maybe useful. Tesco Internet Saving account pays .75% plus a one year bonus of .75% (1.50%). My bonus ran out, and I telephoned Tesco and they said I can close the accounts and open up new ones and get the bonus.Thank you for reading this message.0 -

I think I have been overly optimistic about my goal for this year - I had forgotten about a few big expenditures coming up this year and that my increased salary won't kick in for a few months.
Thus, could I please change my goal to £4000?
