Hi, Just want to say that I am dropping out for this year as we are going to dip into our savings to redo our home a bit so I think staying with the challenge won't really make any sense.
I will probably be back next year if we all do it again.

A little late, I know, but I'm going to try saving hard for last three months of the year. I'm going to set myself a target of £4000 to reach by the end of 2014.0

Hello savers!
I've just filled in the reporting spreadsheet for September.
£1700 saved this month
I hope to complete my target by the end of November, which will be good, as I'm retiring in December, and there probably won't be much saving going on for a couple of years!Early retired - 18th December 2014

Only £500 this month, it's been a very spendy one. Car tax, insurance, breakdown cover, service and MOT. Also £1500 for house painting and repairs requiring a scaffold. Luckily, a big chunk of that had been set aside in my Outgoings pot that I don't count as savings.
And I did something really reckless and spent £800 on a piece of secondhand jewellery, but I've had a bit of overtime and expenses that almost cover that.
I've got a nice weekend away coming up next week, but I've already pre-paid, so I can relax and enjoy it!Save £12k in 2022 thread #7:
