Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0

Just checking- there is a form to add your own updates on page 1, were you aware of this? It's quite a lot of work for slowlyfading to manage the thread. If you can fill in the form every month it makes it easier for her to keep track of everything0

Tara you are doing BRILLIANTLY!!! Keep pushing and you will hit your year end target (per your sig). With the amount you have, added to the amount I have stashed away in my big emergency fund, together we can pay off my mortgage completely:D:D:rotfl:

I've just submitted my update for September at only £179. Lower than I would have liked but, it does bring me to target already! :j
It's been a super expensive month with a £250 car service, a £300 dental bill yesterday and £230 paid for my holiday to Italy next month (doesn't include spending money which will come out of next months monies). Most of this has been absorbed by my stash account which is separate from my savings to use for planned expenses and I managed to still keep hold of most of that, so not feeling too glum about it!
I don't think October will be much either as we've got big bills coming in soon for house maintenance/repair bills and spending money for the holiday, but I may still be able to tuck something away. November & December might see me being able to go £500 above my current target, so really can't complain!£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000

I am not going to declare anything saved for September. I have a credit card bill of around £500 due, will have house painting costs next month, MOT and bodywork repair and I am also planning on becoming self-employed in the next month or two so will need a good cushion of cash over the next few months. I still hope to make my target for the year, but it's not going to be so easy....Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
