Well after hiding away for a bit as I was quite down about how much I was having to spend out, I have now checked all my accounts and was surprised to see that I have saved £566.68 in September!

Have updated the form. I feel a lot more motivated now.

Finally I can post on this thread. Yesterday was payday and I paid the last of my debt off and now have savings.

I won't hit my target of £4000, but I am so happy to be debt-free and saving.

Total for October £426.51, off to update the spreadsheet and my signature.

Declaring £1475.33 for September, up to £19,126 for the year so far and will tick past £20k in the next few days when the monthly SO's go out :D

D'oh, where did I get that number - September was £1789.49 rather than £1475.33 (although the total is right). Will resubmit :o
  • Well done everybody, everyone is doing so well!

#132 declaring £1915 for September. Some of that came from bonus money carried over from last month and some was interest paid on our ISAs yesterday (yay!). Have updated the spreadsheet SF :)

We're hoping to hit our £45k house deposit saving target in six months time which is very exciting! It will mean saving a fair whack each month but looking at how much we've managed to save this year I think we can do it!

    Happy October saving everybody!
