I'd be inclined to suggest doing the house up a bit; sprucing the place up might help you make the decision on whether to stay put or not, and if you decide not to stay the sprucing up might help improve the offers you get on your place when you put it up for sale!Wentthedaywell? wrote: »And you get the benefit of living in a nice smart house for a year or so!

#077 popping on to declare £119.28 for August
Better than last month so I'm happy with that. Hopefully in September I will get a £100 bank switching bonus on top of whatever I save
Depends how long it takes them to put it in my account though, it might roll over to October instead.
Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Afternoon all,
No. 38 declaring (on time for a change!) an August total of £800. I had to unexpectedly pay out for new brake pads for the car, and a new mattress for the bed.
At 76% of my total now, only roughly £2,800 to go with 4 months remaining. "And I'm feeling good...."No. 47 Save £12k in 2018: £ ( %)

Payday update for August! After a slow start to the year, I'm feeling sooo motivated now that I've passed the £80k mark! Haven't decided what to do to celebrate yet, but I'll treat myself to something
I saved £1,047 in August...
...which brings my 2014 (to date) total to £6,970...
...and my overall total to £81,097!

115K - I agree with the others - you'll get the benefit of redecorating whether you stay or sell

Hi SF
It's payday :j
I have added my total for August. I also updated my total for March because it disagrees with my spreadsheet for some reason - at least it's now more rather than less!

This might be a naïve question but what do the colours mean on the spreadsheet? Green, yellow and red?
I have got a pay increase (WOOHOO) and hopefully a bonus on its way... so hopefully can make up the lost ground and set myself up well for next year (already thinking about 2015 I know!) lol.My Goal: From 1st of Jan 2015 to 31st of December 2015 is to save 30000.
48.78% towards 2015 target.
105.3% towards 2014 target. :j0 -
