The new total - mark me up please. Although I have had to spend quite a bit I have nearly hit and smashed my total. However we are counting cash aren't we so it stands merely at £7600 so far. Oh and I finish work for good in 8 days! ; - )
I am number 50 on your list.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Sparrer, so very sorry about your loss. My heartfelt condolences.
I will add a token amount to my savings after I have worked out my outgoings (the silly car is costing me a fortune). I have paid a large chunk into my mortgage this month so not all bad.
I aso don't tell anyone about my savings (especially not my DH) apart from my daughters, without giving away any specifics.
Weekend is upon us again and I am really looking forward to some rest.

I wish! Probably my fault in some previous postAnyway, my 2014-to-date total is definitely £6,970. I reckon I won't make the £12K this year, but I'm hoping for at least £10K.

Hi everyone
A big, fat ZERO from me this month. It was sort of expected though, as we've been re-decorating the bedrooms (child free at last!), lovely new bed, car insurance had to be renewed, plus both boy's uni rents were due (1 for a whole year). Ouch. Next month will be another Zero, too, as some of the re-decorating bills are still to come in. But October onwards should get easier...I may reach my target yet.
Happy saving everyone.Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.0 -
Hi all,
Sorry I've been lax in doing this due to health issues and spending lots of time in hospital!
My savings for this month is £200 - better than nothing! Hope everyone is well.Former Debt free wannabe. Now trying to save for a rainy day!0 -

Yes, I think we are going to do a few things to the house.
I'm not sure that I will make the target of £9,000 for 2014 if we do spend some money but doing this challenge has meant that I have saved more money then if I was doing it on my own so it's not too bad.:THOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
