It looks terrible that I've only saved £70 this month but I've managed to save up the £400 defecit I had (rather than subtract from my total) plus the £70 this month
I've done so much better than I thought and it only took me about 3 weeks to do.
£20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**0 -
I've managed £1022.16 this month
Next month is going to be a bit spendy so I'm expecting less but will keep going.

Just added £370 for this month. Didn't quite make all I wanted to as my petrol expenditure has been massive this last month or two.
Tomorrow I have to take muttley to the vet but I have a small credit there so hopefully it won't be too expensive, but all the little things are confounding me in my attempts to save at the moment0 -
Declaring £2395.90 for August which takes me to £17,336 overall - under £700 to go now, so will hit target next week when the next set of SOs go out
Next three months are going to be a fair bit lower, although unofficially i'm going to target £22k by the end of the year which should be achievable0 -
Hi all!
Cannot believe it is September already, where has this year gone!?
This month has been a good one. I have worked loads of overtime covering people on holiday and DH got a pay rise at work, his company is odd and pay pay-rises as a lump sum rather than spreading it over the year so it has gone into our savings all at once!
We also paid for our summer holiday last year so didn't have as much of an outlay for that as we usually would have.
So #132 declaring £5458 for August.
This also puts us well over our £12k saving target. Could I change it to £21k please SF?
This new target would would mean saving an average of £1045 a month until December which I think we can just about manage, maybe...
Happy September savings everyone!MFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019
