I'd check what help/benefits you may be entitled to, take what is your and leave him.

Nobody deserves to be treated or made to feel like this. I'd let the banks repossess his house - just make sure you're not financially linked with joint accounts etc.

Just catching up - he says you are 'beneath' his family and if he cant get his leg over then he'll 'have to go elsewhere' O.M.G.

Gather your children and run. How can you even listen to him speak to you like that without either doing him serious injury or leaving? If your self esteem is low then it will never get any better whilst he's constantly belittling you. Save yourself and get out.
